論文摘要
本論文關心的是都市發展過程中因計畫道路開闢而產生的閒置畸零土地,如何透過網路資訊共享平台促進其土地利用之價值。論文的進行包含四個部分:
背景調查
以文獻資料調查研究範圍內畸零地產生之原因及位址,同時調查畸零地相關法規對土地使用方式之限制,而後實地勘查使用現況及已知的畸零土地管理方式。
空間原型
以畸零地邊界幾何形態之歸類與分析,衍伸空間設計方法,並發展具備可拆解、組合及便於以物流載具於巷弄間運送之空間原型。
設計議題
以可置入面積狹小畸零土地為前提,搜尋設計案例並從中歸納出可由前述原型回應之都市議題,並以得出之議題為設計概念,賦予前述空間原型機能,從而生成空間設計。
共享平台
以自造時代下的資源共享概念,建立結合空間資訊共享與設計檔案共享之網路平台,並藉由將網站發布於網路社群後所得之使用者回饋,檢討資源共享模式促進畸零空間再利用之可行性。

A Medium of Odd Land Regeneration
in the Age of Makers

SUMMARY
The objective of this research is to develop a medium of odd land regeneration, a network platform for increasing the value of odd lands by information sharing. This research contains four parts: background analysis, prototype construction, urban issue finding and network platform setting. Through the process of this research, we realize the typology of odd lands and develop a prototype which can adapt to different kinds of odd land appropriately. Network platforms based on social media are set to collect information and more design projects of odd land regeneration. At the same time, due to the opened database, other internet users can modify the prototype and make improvements. Subsequent researches can utilize the database on the platform of odd land regeneration mediums, and raise proposals to fulfill real practice in urban space.

INTRODUCTION
This research contains four parts: background analysis, prototype constructing, urban issue finding and network platform setting.
Background Analysis
Locate odd lands in the researching area, and explain their existence by researching previous studies on the history of urban development.
Also, we studied the law of land use to understand restrictions and known situations of odd land use. Then we document the current status of odd land use by field research.
Prototype Constructing
Classify odd lands by shape types, then develop prototype design methods accordingly. Due to law restrictions, the prototype that are to be placed on odd lands should be detachable, in other words a temporary construction, which also benefits in portability in narrow lanes.
Urban Issue Finding
Search for urban design projects which are suitable for odd lands. By previous findings we then conclude urban issues which can be solve by odd land use and prototype design. Urban issues, such as modular, recycling and shanty towns, provides concepts for functions in the prototype designing process.
Network Platform Setting
Resource sharing is a key concept in the age of makers. Setting a network platform to exchange information of odd lands and related design projects not only improves the connection between designers and odd land owners, but also helps the evolution of prototype. Moreover, connecting platforms and social networks can also collect users’ comments to improve odd land regeneration projects.
METHODS
The research method includes six part: 1) background analysis 2) morphology research 3) case study 4) design 5) site information and 6) platform setting. Background analysis includes researches of previous studies, law of land use, current status and the documented odd land shapes. With preceding tasks we derive the morphology research of odd land, and then the design of the prototype. Case study is a searching process for scaled-down urban design projects. From which we conclude urban issues, which can be solve by odd land use and prototype designing, as a crucial reference for further programming. Finally, setting a network platform can let the information of odd land and the prototype design project to be seen. The online sources are free for sharing additionally.
RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
The result includes three parts: 1) phenomenon and systematic research 2) design development 3) network information and raising proposal.
Phenomenon and Systematic Research
This part of result based on background analysis and morphology research. Through the analysis of plane shapes, we figured out the common dimension in different shapes: they can be form in a rule by duplicating isosceles triangle shape units. With this rule we discovered the potential systemization of the seemingly chaotic assembly.
Design Development
In the development of prototype design, we transformed the odd land shapes into many geometric units to form a space. Each unit can be construct by a group of joints and tubes, which are modular units that can be produce by 3D printer. From which we conclude urban issues, which can be solve by odd land use and prototype designing, as a crucial reference for further programming.
Network Information and Raising Proposal
Crowdfunding is an important economic model in the age of makers. Differing from traditional economic model, the producer can verify the abundance of consumers before production by raising a proposal on the network platform. The proposal raised for odd land regeneration on network platform informs the feasibility of the idea in the same way.
CONCLUSION
The objective of this research is to develop a medium of odd land regeneration, a network platform for increasing the value of odd lands by information sharing. Network database is limitless, and advances with time. Update frequency of the project on network platform can be growth in multiples. Subsequent researches can utilize the database on the platform of odd land regeneration mediums, and raise proposals to fulfill real practice in urban space.
