According to Time Geography, home location which decisions daily activities of starting and ending, workplace which decided to commuting time and distance. In addition to the activities of the individual substance of the restrictions of space and role-play among family members has also been each other's constraints, which " family commensality " as the household members should meet each other's activities, On weekdays and weekends, time-using have difference flexibility, explore the different types of households from the timing of daily activities to understand what to consider and how to react in real space planning. In this study, finding the optimal research site “Jinhua Li” in Tainan city and using individual interviews to gain data. After analyzing these data by narrative analysis method, family commensality arrangements were less subject to geographical constraints on weekends, but by the physical capacity constraints, transport also determines whether there is scope that can be moved; family commensality is usually with all of household members. Mixed use of space planning satisfied the needs of each member and save commuting time.
