本研究以《人類學視野下的越南文化》一書為例， 探討越南語翻譯成中文的過程中所面臨的困難與挑戰，研究採用文獻分析與訪問方法，收集並分析四個翻譯階段的文本，包括初稿譯文、修正譯文、調整譯文與定稿譯文。透過分析，多數錯誤集中於初稿譯文，因此本研究特別著重於初稿的錯誤分析。
除了分析《人類學視野下的越南文化》一書與初稿譯文之外，本研究亦訪談了參與本書翻譯工作的譯者，以了解其在翻譯過程中所遇到的詞彙、語法與術語等方面的困難。
研究结果顯示，整體翻譯過程共修正了 303 項，涵蓋詞彙錯誤與語法錯誤三大類。其中， 翻譯詞彙錯誤共有 300 項，占 99.01%、語法錯誤 3 項，占 0.99%。詞彙錯誤可細分為詞義錯誤、字體與拼寫錯誤、詞彙多餘或缺少、漢越詞使用錯誤 、專業術語使用不當、以及語用與風格不當等面向。詞彙錯誤可再分為詞義錯誤（宗教與文化信仰詞彙錯誤、專有名詞使用錯誤、職業與組織稱謂翻譯錯誤及其他詞義錯誤）。舉例而言，原文「quan niệm thờ trời」在初稿中誤譯為「天皇」，易致讀者誤解為日本的天皇；定稿改為「天公」，更貼近越南民間信仰。又如「lòng tự ái」初稿譯為「自愛感」，正確應為「自尊心」，否則會偏離越南語原本帶有敏感性。宗教文化語境中，「kiết già」在佛教指「蓮花坐」，初稿未翻譯此詞，造成語義缺漏，定稿補充後才更忠實於原文。專有名詞音譯錯誤亦常見，如「Khơme」初稿譯為「克蒙族」，定稿改為「高棉族」，避免了與其他民族混淆。至於專業術語與字體拼寫錯誤，若未能準確轉換或混用簡繁字、同音字，則會嚴重影響譯文的專業性與一致性。
本研究除了揭示翻譯過程中常見的問題，也提供譯者使用的翻譯策略、提出譯文翻譯過程錯誤的重要參考。研究成果對未來處理相關文本的翻譯工作具有實務與學術上的指導意義。

This study investigates the challenges encountered in translating of the book “Vietnamese Culture from an Anthropological Perspective”from Vietnamese into Chinese, focusing on errors in the first translation edition. Using literature review and translator interviews, the research analyzes four stages of translation—initial draft, revised draft, adjusted draft, and final draft—with particular emphasis on the initial draft where most errors occurred.
Findings reveal 303 errors, divided into lexical errors accounted for 300 accounting for 99.01% and grammatical errors accounted for 3 accounting for 0.99% of the total . Lexical errors dominate, encompassing semantic misinterpretations, spelling and character form mistakes, additions or omissions, terminological inaccuracies, and stylistic inadequacies. Semantic errors are especially significant, often involving religious and cultural references, proper nouns, and occupational terms. For example, “quan niệm thờ trời” was mistranslated as 「天皇」 (“Emperor”), which risks cultural misinterpretation, but was corrected to 「天公」 (“Lord of Heaven”), aligning with Vietnamese folk beliefs. Similarly, “lòng tự ái” was initially rendered as 「自愛感」 (“self-love”), later revised to 「自尊心」 (“self-esteem”), better reflecting the intended nuance. Omissions, such as excluding “kiết già” (“lotus seat”) in Buddhist contexts, created semantic gaps that were restored in later drafts. The study highlights how inconsistent spelling, homophones, and switching between simplified and traditional Chinese characters further undermined translation quality. By identifying these recurring problems, the research provides practical and academic insights, offering guidance for translators and scholars to refine methods, avoid common pitfalls in future translation work on related texts.
