空間型構法則以圖形理論為基礎,藉由將量體以外的虛空間的拓樸化與量化,來解析都市空間結構。空間型構法則主張,由於人在空間中藉由其視覺對於空間的辨識而移動,空間的結構關係影響著行人的移動特性。
在都市中,人們的移動行為依循著公共空間,穿梭於街道、公園、綠地等開放空間;而在較小的空間中,行人的尋路(way-finding)行為因著空間的連通性,使用街道以外,公共建築或商業空間中的「半公共空間」作為其活動的空間。商業區的發展,亦伴隨著許多不同類型之半公共空間。半公共空間藉著連通捷運系統中的通道,穿越街道的空橋等人行空間與街道公共空間相連,成為都市中步行空間系統的一環。
本研究之提出將商業區之半公共空間所納入空間型構法則理論的研究,透過空間型構法則之主要分析工具-軸線圖(Axial Map)作為主要的空間界定工具,運用軸線圖的拓樸結構來表示空間系統的連結性,而進一步解構都市中的商業空間結構,並透過空間型構法則指標對於不同商業空間作比較、評估與分析。
本研究首先對於都市商業空間所形成之半公共空間之空間元素、空間連結與私人空間及公共空間之連結關係、界面空間以軸線圖作清楚之定義。並利用以AutoCAD建置之軸線圖,運用Arcmap 10.0軟體與其延伸工具Axwoman 6.0之結合工具作軸線圖之分析。以台北市信義商圈、忠孝商圈為例,依照該地區之人行移動特性,運用軟體之特性建置多層空間系統,以對於空間的公共性與空間結構影響之行人的移動行為作更進一步之分析。
透過實證研究之比較結果,忠孝商圈與信義商圈兩研究地區在加入半公共空間後透過空間結構運算之結果,視覺化之圖形具有明顯的變化,對於空間結構的計算更加精密。而多層空間結構中對整體空間之局部性整合度(LInteg)空間指標有較為明顯之變化。透過該指標,對於都市空間整合度之判斷,可作為都市設計之判斷指標。
Space syntax is a set of techniques for the representation, quantification, and interpretation of spatial configuration in buildings and settlements. Based on the visibility of pedestrians, space syntax models it’s primary tool, axial map, for representing the connectivity of urban systems and decompose the organization of street network and urban spaces. In Cities, the moving behavior of human beings follow the visibility of open space such as street, green space or square. However, in the process of urbanization, compact and mixed use development changed the composition of spaces, the semi-public space in the commercial areas affect the movement of pedestrians from horizontal flow to vertical flow, which extend the “streets” into the buildings.
This master thesis is intended as a contribution to the understanding of the cities of the spatial configuration of semi-public space in commercial areas, focused on the multi-layer model of space syntax for interpreting the topology of streets and buildings, including the procedure of establishing and analyzing, for applying it on the analysis of multi-layer networks. According to the definition of axial line in space syntax, create the axial map via AutoCAD software, and make use of the ArcGIS software and the extensions software Axwoman 6.0 as the tool for the analysis of the spatial configuration. Through extending the axial map from streets to semi-public space in or between buildings, the spatial configuration could more interpretable in via space syntax, which can also been use as the evaluation criteria in urban design.
