本論文討論的主題是關於雙螺旋結構為概念來發展一個空間形體的生產機制,並顯示其空間連續且決裂的特色。任何形狀的平面,包括三角形或矩形等,都可以編輯雙螺旋結構,執行此操作命令後此平面即可轉變成為雙螺旋的空間。且當此空間回塌成為其初始的平面時仍然保有其完整性與連續性。
本論文共分為四個章節:
01 觀 察
首先是發現任何平面皆可藉由雙螺旋結構來詮釋
與發展空間。
02 原 理
其次用雙螺旋結構逐步展演空間。
03 操 演
進而在任意有限的平面上,嘗試更多的空間變
化。
04 案 例
最後是設計操作,以雙螺旋系統重新創作台南市
都市結構藍帶與綠帶的交會介面。
雙螺旋結構包含了以下三點空間特色。
01 對偶性
凡物事必雙雙出現,兩者的內容為彼此相反 兩
者的總合為一整體。
02 連續與決裂
雙螺旋中的兩股勢力保持各自連續不輟但彼此可
望而不可及。
03 碎 形
整體即細部,且任何局部皆自我相似,且能持續
增長。
此三大特色為雙螺旋結構的基本精神,任何其精采的空間表現皆出於此。
The thesis aims at developing a mechanism of space production by using Double Spiral System, and performing the spatial characteristics of the discrete continuity which is produced through this mechanism. Any shape of plane,including triangle, rectangle etc ,can be edited by the Double Spiral System . By executing each process the plane would be transformed into a Double Spiral System space. The plane should remain its completeness and continuity as the space folded up back into its original form.
The thesis is consisted of four parts:
01 Observation:
First of all , we suppose that any plane should be able to be transformed into space
and be presented by using the Double Spiral System.
02 Principles:
Secondly, we multiply and metamorphose spaces by detail by using the Double Spiral System .
03 Exercise:
After knowing the system is reliable, this part would be focused on creating more possibilities of space under a limited plane.
04 Example:
we use the Double Spiral System to re-build the content of the area that surrounds China Town, which is the intersection of the urban struction of Tainan .
The Double Spiral System is composed of the three following characters:
01 Duality :
The premise that everthing has an opposing force that must be , or will be in balance .
02. Discrete continuity :
A status which means the forces of the two opposite spiral are drawed by each other, almost reached but are excluded by each other at the same time .
03. Fractal :
A shape that is recursively constructed or self-similar, that is , a shape that appears similar at all scales of magnification and is therefore often referred to as “infinitely complex ”.
The three characters are the essentials and the main orders of the Double Spiral System, all the variable performance are due to them.
