本篇是在超高真空系統中,利用程序控溫反應/脫附、反射式吸收紅外光譜和歐傑電子光譜來研究丙炔酸(HC≡CCOOH)於Cu(100)單晶上的熱化學反應性,並利用丙烯酸(H2C=CHCOOH)和氘取代的丙炔酸(DC≡CCOOD(H))來證實其反應中間體。
低暴露量下HC≡CCOOH於110 K會以η3-HCCCOOH吸附於Cu(100)上,當升溫至220–260 K時,η3-HCCCOOH會斷O–H鍵,形成η3-HCCCOO(a)及η2-HCCCOO(a)兩種不同吸附物種。320 K時,兩吸附物種會斷C–C單鍵,產生CO2、CO和H2O,同時於Cu(100)表形成CCH(a)、 丙烯酸根(H2C=CHCOO(a))、 C=C=O(a)及–C≡COH(a)的吸附中間物。CCH(a)約在360 K有乙炔(HC≡CH)和少量的乙烯(H2C=CH2)的脫附,並於550 K時,CCH(a)斷CC鍵產生CH(a)且表面留有C(a)。H2C=CHCOO¬(a) 和 C=C=O(a)約在500 K分解,並產生CO2、CO和H2脫附。–C≡COH(a)則穩定至660 K後才分解並且生成CO和H2脫附。
Temperature-programmed reaction/desorption (TPR/D) and reflection absorption infrared spectroscopy (RAIRS) have been employed to investigate the thermal reaction of propiolic acid (HC≡CCOOH) on Cu(100). We use acrylic acid (H2C=CHCOOH) and D-propiolic acid ((DC≡CCOOD(H)) to verify the reaction intermediate.
At low exposures, HC≡CCOOH adsorbs on Cu(100) in the form of η3-type at 110 K. When the O-H breakage occurs at about 220-260 K, η3-HCCCOO(a) and η2-HCCCOO(a), two types of absorbate are formed. CO2, CO and H2O desorption reveals that the C-C bond have been broken at 320 K; moreover, the CCH(a)、ketenylidene( C=C=O(a))、acrylate (H2C=CHCOO(a)) and –C≡COH(a) remain on the Cu(100) surface as absorption intermediates. When CCH(a) heated to 360 K, HC≡CH and a little H2C=CH2 desorb from the surface. At 550 K, the CC bond of CCH(a) is broken, CH(a) and C(a) are formed at the same time. At about 500 K, H2C=CHCOO¬(a) and C=C=O(a) decompose to CO2, CO and H2. –C≡COH(a) is stable until 660 K, and produces CO2 and H2.
