國內目前的船員之輪機訓練均採上課、實習以及海上實船訓練方式,不僅需要空間、時間並且費時。國外已有專用之輪機訓練設備,但一般經費龐大,若非預算充裕,不易購置。為了在一最省空間與經費之情況下,能給予船員一有效之輪機訓練方式,虛擬實境技術不失為可考慮之方法,本計畫即利用此技巧設計一套簡易船員輪機之訓練系統,相信對國內輪機訓練有相當大之助益並具有經濟發展之空間。
虛擬實境系統在本文中主要利用兩套軟體來建構完成,其一為EON Studio,另一套為3D Studio Max。並利用3D立體眼鏡、120吋大螢幕、三槍投影機等周邊設備來達到擬真效果,使本套簡易船員輪機之訓練系統更加完美。
本系統之建構成本低廉,相當經濟實用,將對國內輪機訓練有相當大之助益。
In Taiwan, most of the marine engineering training for the crew is handled in class or on board, which needs large space and much time. Although the special facility for marine engineering training has been widely used in many countries, it cost a lot of money. Usually it is not easy to install the facility unless the budget is enough. In order to offer an efficient training environment for the crew under the limitation of space and fund, the virtual reality technology is developed here, which can be regarded as a feasible method. In the present study, the relating technology is used to design a simple training system of the marine engineering for boats. It is believed that the technology developed here will be helpful for the domestic marine engineering training and good for the economic development.
The present virtual reality system is carried out by two sets of software, one is EON Studio, the other is 3D Studio Max. In order to make the simulation more perfect, the 3D stereo eyeglasses, the electrohome projection systems and 120 inch screen are adopted to enhance the performance of whole system.
The prime cost of the whole system we developed here is very low and it is indeed a practical tool for the domestic marine engineering training.
