天母運動公園位於台北市士林區的天母地區內，其中天母棒球場目前是台北市唯一一座符合國際賽事資格的職業棒球場。但由於其興建過程曲折，在歷經多次設計變更及地方抗議下，成為一座定位不明確的棒球場。不但無法如同其他棒球場一樣正常地舉辦職業棒球比賽，也無法在平日滿足一般民眾的運動需求。
近年來隨著健康及休閒意識提升，運動健身逐漸成為現代人們日常生活中重要的一部分。而天母運動公園在如今的台北都市環境內是相當廣闊的一片綠地公園，在面對天母商圈老化沒落以及棒球場使用率不佳的情況下，再加上未來台北大巨蛋即將完工啟用，天母棒球場在台北市的定位即將改變。而其對於天母地區未來發展是否還有其留存的必要?因此本研究希望藉由運動型態的轉型，將民眾從原本觀賞者的角色變為實際使用者，提升當地的運動文化風氣，使天母地區在未來能重新換發新生命。
本研究透過文獻蒐集與彙整，檢視天母地區的發展脈絡與相關計畫，並藉由天母運動公園的調查與分析，了解其發展現況、空間規劃與周邊資源等，整理出目前天母運動公園所面臨的問題，並通過國內外運動園區、體育場館等相關案例作為參考依據，結合當地實際現況，提出符合時代潮流、滿足當地需求及促進地區發展之台北市天母運動園區設計構想。

In recent years, with the improvement of health and leisure awareness, sports and fitness have become an important part of modern people's life. Tien-Mu Sports Park can be said to be a very broad green park in today's Taipei urban environment. In the face of the aging and declining Tien-Mu business district and the poor utilization rate of the baseball stadium, coupled with the upcoming completion and opening of the Taipei Arena, the positioning of Tien-Mu Baseball Stadium in Taipei City must be changed Is it necessary to retain Tien-Mu Baseball Stadium for the future development of Tien-Mu area? Therefore, this research expects that through the transformation of sports patterns, the public will be transformed from spectators to actual users, and the local sports culture will be enhanced, so that Tien-Mu area will renewal in the future.
This research examines the development context and related projects of the Tien-Mu region through literature collection and compilation. Through the investigation and analysis of Tien-Mu Sports Park, we can understand its development status, space planning and surrounding resources, etc. To sort out the current problems that faced by Tien-Mu Sports Park, by referring the cases of domestic and foreign sports parks, stadiums and other related cases as a basis. Combined with the actual local situation, we propose a design concept for the Taipei Tien-Mu Sports Park, which conforms to the trend of the times, meets local needs, and promotes regional development.
