電腦的普及與資訊教育的推廣,使得兒童接觸電腦的時間逐漸增加。且現今之電腦科技日新月異,電腦工作站的設計因而更加重要。不當的電腦工作站使用環境不僅會造成兒童使用者不良的操作姿勢,甚至加速生理傷害的潛在風險。本研究主要以人因工程的觀點對於兒童電腦工作站進行研究。此產品系統,涵蓋二部份,分別為:(1)兒童電腦工作站諮詢網站;(2)設計兒童用新型態電腦工作站,以確保學童在操作上的人因安全性。
本研究以參與式設計方法,募集8位11-12歲國小學童加入為期7個月的參與式設計小組討論聚會,透過研究人員與兒童使用者意見的整合交流,共同設計開發「兒童電腦工作站諮詢網站」與「兒童用新型態電腦工作站」。
期望研究結果可提供兒童在使用電腦工作站時,有一良好的網站線上輔導系統與減低電腦疾病傷害的兒童電腦工作站,讓兒童快樂學習、活潑成長!
Computer workstation plays an important role in children’s learning. As computer technology is involved in our daily life more and more, the design of the computer workstation becomes more critical. Therefore, the inappropriate computer workstation will promote unhealthy posture and musculoskeletal risk. The research focuses on the human factors of design for children’s workstation. The product system indicated that:(1)The website of children's computer workstation information. (2)Design a new children’s computer workstation that meets the ergonomic demands of the schoolchildren and make sure the safety of these operations.
We engaged 8 children(ages 11-12 year old)at an elementary school to be our design partners. Within the 7-month discussion workshops, the participatory design team proposed a website of children's computer workstation information and create a new children’s computer workstation.
Finally, the results provide schoolchildren with a work atmosphere which promotes comfort, accuracy, maximum output, and a result, an optimum computer learning situation.
