台灣的液晶平面顯示器(Thin Film Transistor Liquid Crystal Display:TFT-LCD)是繼半導體之後,另一個資金及技術密集且是政府兩兆雙星計畫中的一項重要產業的產業。2007年台灣大尺寸TFT LCD面板產業產值達1兆870億新台幣,占全球第一位約45.5%。面板產業是一個集合高度資金、技術以及勞力密集的產業,進入以及退出門檻都很高。目前全世界只有台灣、韓國、大陸以及日本等國家有在進行投資生產,而其中日本是面板產業技術的先驅者,但是近來只有幾個大型投資案,例如Sharp的8代以及10代廠。而大陸的面板產業近年來才開始起步,在技術及產量都不及台灣。目前仍在進行投資擴廠的的國家只有台灣以及韓國。台灣廠商在不斷的擴充新廠的情況下,面板產業成為帶動台灣經濟成長的主要產業,因為面板廠需要大量的人力,所以也創造大量的就業人口。為了維持台灣面板產業的競爭力,除了加強研發能力外,降低製造成本也是提高競爭力的一個方法。其中製造成本又包含生產成本以及庫存成本。而生產一塊面板需要搭配眾多的原物料,這些原物料包含:彩色濾光片、背光模組、玻璃、偏光片、驅動IC以及液晶及設備等等。以往的面板廠使用傳統的推式生產模式,主要是以市場的預測來進行原物料備貨,這表示企業需要預先購買並囤積這眾多的原物料在庫房內,等待生產時使用,若遇到預測與實際的數值差異太大時,原物料將庫存太多並造成庫存成本提高,進而侵蝕企業獲利。
本論文的主要方向是探討如何降低面板廠的原物料庫存,使用的理論為高德拉特(Goldratt)所提出的限制理論(Theory of Constraint:TOC),並運用限制理論中的思維程序(Thinking Process:TP)中的現狀真實圖、衝突圖、未來真實圖、條件圖及轉換圖等循序步驟,一步步的構建出拉式供應鏈模型,運用此模型以求達到降低面板廠的原物料庫存成本為目的。本論文將以南部科學園區的面板廠商-瀚宇彩晶股份有限公司-作為個案研究對象,並將拉式供應鏈模型運用到個案中以進行分析。
The “Thin Film Transistor Liquid Crystal Display:(TFT-LCD)” is becoming more important in Taiwan,just under semiconductor。The output value of Taiwan’s large size TFT-LCD reached NTD187 billions in year of 2007,meanwhile,it’s also the No.1 of the world。So far,there are only four countries which still invest TFT-LCD industry,they are Taiwan、Korea、China and Mainland。
To maintain the advantage of Taiwan TFT-LCD industry, either strengthens the research development ability or decrease the production cost which include manufacture cost and inventory cost.
There are many materials will be used when manufacturing a TFT-LCD panel, this materials include color filter(CF),backlight module, bare glass, polarizer film, driver IC and liquid crystal(LC) and equipments. Most of the TFT-LCD makers used traditional manufacture model like “Push supply chain” mass produce and then stock products on the warehouse. They also usually rely on marketing forecasting. It will confront to much material cost when face large bias between actual and forecasting.
This research will use the “Theory of Constraint (TOC)” and five tools of thinking process (TP) to construct Pull Supply Chain model. The five tools include current reality tree(CRT),conflict resolution diagram(CRD),future reality tree, prerequisite tree and transition tree(TrT).It use this model to lower material inventory cost for it’s main goal. This research will apply the model on Hannstar Corporation which is a TFT-LCD maker in south science park of Taiwan. To verify the pull supply chain model can lower material inventory cost.
