在網路頻寬的快速發展之下,利用網路通訊協定來傳輸聲音(VoIP)的技術已經逐漸取代傳統會議,我們試著利用中央集權的模式去發展出一套與一般面對面的傳統會議概念相似的 VoIP 電話會議系統。
用電話會議系統取代傳統會議已經是一種趨勢,與傳統會議相較之下,電話會議便利、有效率、並節省旅費。VoIP 的技術在日積月累的演進之下,其聲音品質已經可以被大部分的企業所接受,並廣泛被利用在一般遠距的會議以及例行性的會議上。此外,用 VoIP 去取代傳統電話會議一直是一個很熱門話題,因為 VoIP 在便利性上、經費上、管理上、意外處理上都有著發展的潛力。但是大部分的電話會議系統並沒有朝著這些方向去考量。
因此,在本篇論文中我們設計了一套新的系統概念去解決上述的問題。這套系統的概念在於用一種更方便更彈性的思維去取代傳統電話會議的預約方式。基於中央集權以及唯一角色會議控制權的方式,讓這個系統的行為更趨近於一般傳統會議室的規則。此外,這套系統並利用辦公室閒置的電腦的計算能力來完成這個會議系統的混音工作並藉此節省添購新設備的費用。新的會議室交換機制並提供了一個簡單的方式去處理混音伺服器無法運作的意外處理。
Due to the fast growth of the Internet bandwidth, the Voice over InternetProtocol (VoIP) conference system steady replaces the traditional conference system. We try to use the centralized conference system model to develop a new VoIP system which closed to the traditional face-to-face meetings.
The conference call systems are the trend of replacement to the traditional face-to-face meeting due to the convenience, efficiency and cost saving on traveling to gather all the conference members to the same location. As the improvement of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology today, the quality of the systems is accepted by most of the industries for the meetings among branches in different location or even daily meetings; furthermore, the replacement from the analog phonic conference system to VoIP is always a popular issue in these industries for potential reasons: convenient, affordable, management, failure recovery, and even more; however, most of the conference call services are not designed to fit these purposes.
As a result, we propose a new system concept to solve the request above. The system replaces the traditional conference call system with a convenient and flexible way on room arrangement. Based on the centralized architecture with a unique role to control the entire conference, the system behaves similar to the regularations of a traditional conference. In addition, this system also provides solutions on cost efficient and resource reuse by disturbing the media mixing process to the idle computers in the office. With the new switching mechanism, the system easily handles the failed case on the conference mixers.
