定軸式方向盤之設計可提供駕駛者更好的安全性與便利性,但卻鮮有定軸式方向盤之實際應用與相關設計規範。本研究先透過定軸式方向盤相關專利之檢索與分析,並從專利資料與車輛發展歷史回顧其發展,且依其機構拓樸構造特性,將現有定軸式方向盤之設計分類。接著針對本研究所應用之圖畫與符號表示法提出探討,並針對齒輪對與凸輪對提出進階之接頭表示法,作為後續研究成果之呈現。再者,運用系統化的創意性機構設計方法,根據所分類之定軸式方向盤,訂定其相關之設計需求與限制,得到31種定軸式方向盤之新型設計;再者,訂定相關評估標準評估定軸式方向盤之最佳設計。最後,基於變化鏈機構之構形合成的設計流程,提出具可變模式之機構的設計流程與原則,並依所提出之流程與原則,設計出具有3種額外可變模式之定軸式方向盤。
Design of fixed center steering wheels gives drivers better safety and convenience. However, few practical applications and related design specifications about fixed center steering wheels exist. Therefore, this work searches and analyzes related patents of fixed center steering wheels, reviews their development from patents and history of automobiles, and classifies their designs by its topological characteristics. This work provides graphic and notation representations proposed by this work, and proposes advanced joint representations of gears and cams to show the results. Moreover, this work concludes related design requirements and constraints based on the classifications of fixed center steering wheels, and utilizes a systematical methodology of creative mechanisms design to generate 31 new design concepts. Based on setting related standards, the best design is evaluated. Finally, according to the design procedure for configuration synthesis of mechanisms with variable chains, this work also proposes the design procedure and principles of mechanical devices with changeable modes. By the proposed procedure and principles, 3 additional changeable modes of fixed center steering wheels are designed.
