　空間實踐是指人在某一空間的作為與活動影響該空間的表現，花蓮經各時期移民拓墾，留下分明而各具代表性的移民軌跡，又近年來再興的移居現象，是累加的空間實踐表現。本論文欲以當今在花蓮發展的移居創業為經，不同族群在不同時期進入同一空間所引入或發展的產業為緯，檢視此空間中移民產業從農業到創意產業的空間實踐，創意產業在舊有產業與文化資產間之間的跨時空協和與競爭，進而找出產業為地方帶來的機會與潛力。

　　以移民角度觀察花蓮的創業環境，檢視花蓮各時期移民被吸引到該地的條件，以及其帶入的產業所塑造的文化資源。整理此資源與區域條件對新進移民的助益或如何共同創造新資源；同時，在地居民如何重新詮釋移民軌跡中的文化資源並再利用。藉此探討在移民軌跡中，移居創業者與在地居民對該地的空間實踐，認識移民變成住民之後共同創造的城市性格與創意產業潛力。

Spatial practices refer to the flows, transfers, and interactions of physical and material elements that occur in and across a specific space in order assure an independent way of survival by having their own social and materialistic reproduction. Throughout the years Hualien has been developed by the constant immigrant phases that have taken place.
　　This study will look into the previous migrants that have established themselves in Hualien, looking into their areas skill and contribution to the area. At the same time, we will look into the reasons for which they decided to move in and interview the latest immigrant entrepreneurs to get insights into their purposes and knowledge.
There are two main purpose of this study: first, analyzing the current space practices of the immigrant entrepreneurs and the residents of Hualien; second, drawing up an inventory in term of local resources and the dominant position created by the spatial practices of migrants in Hualien.
The expect contributions physical and material find out the unique characteristics of Hualien from the immigrant perspective and potential ways to develop the creative industries through future spatial practice of migrants in Hualien.
