現今各式各樣產品,為了人體工學、視覺美觀等因素,需設計相當特殊的曲線及曲面來產生產品的外型,所得到的零件也因此具有複雜曲面的特徵。若曲線曲面設計不良,或零件的分模面選擇錯誤,這些複雜曲面將造成零件在可脫模性上相當大的困擾。若有任何過切產生,反覆修改的步驟在模具設計的流程中將會增加相當多的時間。
基於以上理由,本研究針對塑膠射出成型製作的零件,提出判斷可脫模性的方法。將CAD設計且分模面已經決定的零件模型,輸出為IGES檔案。利用自行發展的雛型系統讀入IGES檔案並重建模型,以B-Spline曲線、曲面的理論,配合可視性理論進行零件模型的脫模性分析。並以四個應用案例,實際測試本研究對於塑膠零件可脫模性判斷的效果。
For ergonomics and the beauty of products, the engineers design some special free form surfaces for the appearances of products. The plastic parts of these products are compounded of complex surfaces. If an inappropriate design occurs at these free form surfaces, or an inappropriate selection occurs at the parting line and the parting surface, these plastic parts can’t be parted during molding. And, it will take a lot of time for modifying the CAD models of these products.
In this study, we propose a method to judge the partibility of plastic parts produced by plastic injection mold. CAD models which their parting line and parting surface were chosen are exported IGES files. The exported IGES files are loaded by the prototype system. The system will rebuild these CAD models and judge their partibility by using the algorithm based on the theories of B-Spline curve, B-Spline surface and visibility. Four case studies have demonstrated the feasibility of the algorithm proposed in the thesis.
