本研究是探討以神話做為一種建築形式，介入環境之中，進行空間對話與意義生產。

現實之構成以及對現實之理解，皆十分複雜。人所感知的僅是其中部份碎片。有些訊息存於日常經驗的通常現實之中、另外許多難以理解的訊息埋藏深層現實，看不見實體，然而確實存在。透過科學、文化與神話，我們對這些訊息建立意義始能產生感知。不同觀點(科學、文化、神話)讓我們對相同的訊息能有不同的感知，之間並無對錯優劣之分。

本創作意圖將存於伊斯坦堡中的建築物件，如代表性元素的拜喚塔、穹頂以及神秘難以解釋的地底梅杜莎頭像，以神話的方式對其建立不同的意義。由三組神話與藝術創作介入現實：｢天文地影」、｢落星歸天」與｢重返梅杜莎」。其目的並非為改變實存世界的物質狀態，而為了改變對伊斯坦堡現實情境的認知慣性。意義介入空間，使神話成為建築。

The Thesis is about exploring the mythical dimensions of Architecture as a form of intervention in built environments.

The reality is a construct. It unveils different contents with respect to the construction methods employed, of which convention, science and myth are three majors. Myths play roles in cultural developments as important and effective as sciences. In addition to those conventional views of making Architecture, there exists the mythical dimension which has been seriously pursued yet ignored for quite long time. It is the intention of this study to resume the relevance of myth in the present practice of Architecture.

Istanbul is the environment this thesis attempts to intervene with three mythic architectures, which take minarets, domes and the Medusa head statues as the themes: “The text that shades”, “The stairway of stars” and “The return of Medusa.”

Without physical changes, myths operate metaphysically by changing the world perceptions, which reciprocally intervenes the environments as effective as The Architecture we understand.
