  • 本研究利用BERT模型辨別管理階層永續策略聲明中的文字情緒,並分析企業營運績效與ESG評分及管理階層策略情緒之間的關聯性。研究結果顯示,ESG評分對企業價值及資產報酬率有顯著正向影響,當考慮交互作用時,永續策略聲明情緒對ROA有顯著正向影響,這可能是因為正向語氣能提升員工士氣和市場信心。
    另一方面,ESG評分和企業永續發展策略聲明情緒對金融業企業價值皆具正向影響但不顯著,表示投資者在評估金融業時永續報告書之評分及文本情緒不影響其評估企業價值。然而,ESG評分與永續發展策略聲明文字情緒之間的交互作用則顯示,金融業在高ESG評分且永續策略聲明情緒較樂觀情況下可能會有更好的獲利表現,而在情緒較負面時表現較差。對非金融業,ESG評分對企業價值有顯著正向影響,企業永續發展策略聲明情緒對獲利能力也有顯著正向影響,積極策略聲明能提升市場信心和企業獲利。
    綜觀本研究之實證結果,ESG評分對企業價值和財務績效均有顯著影響,企業永續發展策略聲明情緒對市場價值則影響有限,但對財務績效有顯著作用,驗證了綜合考量ESG評分和企業永續發展策略聲明情緒的重要性。

    This study employs natural language processing techniques to analyze the sentiment of the text in sustainability reports published by listed companies in Taiwan. Subsequently, a regression analysis is conducted to examine the relationship between these sentiments and sustainability indicators as well as financial indicators. The overall findings of this study reveal that ESG scores significantly impact firm value (Tobin's Q) and financial performance (ROA). While the sentiment of corporate sustainability strategy statements has a limited effect on market value, it has a notable impact on financial performance. These results underscore the importance of considering both ESG scores and the sentiment of corporate sustainability strategy statements comprehensively.
