對於船舶減阻現在有許多的方法,增加球型艏來降低興波阻力便是最常見的減阻方式,但往往增加了球型艏而使得船體運動以及附加阻力也因此改變,影響船舶整體性能,所以當我們增加球型艏減阻時必須小心謹慎。
本文首先利用實驗驗證最佳化球型艏的阻力、船體運動及附加阻力與原形船的差別,得到最佳化球型艏對於興波阻力降低、船體運動以及附加阻力都有正面的結果。
在設計球型艏方面得到球型艏愈大,對於興波阻力降低愈有效果,但對於船體運動以及附加阻力則有負面的影響。在比較設計球型艏以及最佳化球型艏與原形船的阻力、船體運動及附加阻力,得知最佳化球型艏為最合適之選擇。
Although there existing several ways of the ship resistance reduction, installing a bulbous bow to reduce the wave-making resistance is the most general one. However the ship motion and added resistance may be changed due to the installation of the bulbous bow, and consequently some unexpected effects might occur. Therefore it must be studied carefully while we try to use the bulbous bow to reduce the ship resistance.
In the present study, two models including the prototype and the one with optimized bulbous bow are tested, either theoretically or experimentally, to find the effects on the wave-making resistance, ship motions and added resistance. The results show that the model with optimized bulbous bow is indeed advantageous in the concerned respects. Besides, different bulbous bow designs are also investigated here. The larger the bulbous bow, the lower the wave-making resistance. However, it generally leads to negative effect on the motions and added resistance.
From a series of investigation and comparison, it can be concluded that the optimized bulbous bow considered in the present study may be the best choice with respect to the corresponding concerned factors.
