摘要
目前在許多高分子製造方法,塑膠押出是其中很重要的一種。而平板押出模具一般使用在薄塑膠板的生產。如果平板押出其流道幾何尺寸設計不良,會導致塑膠液在流經模唇的流速不均勻,進而影響防火級ABS在大面寬模頭內的流動性。本文藉由flow2000平板押出模流套裝軟體搭配田口方法搜尋合適的七個模具設計參數,並假設流體符合冪次定律,以流量均勻度及最大壓力降作為判斷模具優劣的依據。最後經由分析的結果來確認平板押出的模具設計參數是否合適。
ABSTRACT
Polymer extrusion is one of the most important manufacturing methods used today. A flat die, is commonly used to extrude thin thermoplastics sheets. If the channel geometry in a flat die is not designed properly, the velocity at the die exit may be perturbed, which can affect the Flame Retardant ABS across the width of the die. In this article flow2000 and Taguchi method were used to search for the suitable values for seven parameters, and the viscosity of polymer melt is assumed to be power-law model. Then the performance of flat die can be determined according to flow uniformity, total pressure. Finally the result of flow analysis can be used to confirm whether the resultant parameters are optimal for the design of flat die.
