本研究主要目的為：(1).瞭解台灣南部地區高中職生經驗父母負向言語與羞愧感、社會焦慮之現況。(2).探究並分析台灣南部地區高中職生經驗父母負向言語與羞愧感、社會焦慮之關聯性。(3).探究羞愧感在台灣南部地區高中職生經驗父母負向言語與社會焦慮之中介效果。
本研究之對象為台灣南部地區四個縣市之公私立高中職學生，採分層隨機抽樣，抽取16間高中職，共計1,703名高中職學生。本研究將所得資料以描述統計、皮爾森積差相關、多元迴歸分析及路徑分析等統計方法處理與分析。
本研究結果顯示：(1).台灣南部地區高中職學生經驗父母批評否定之負向言語與羞愧感呈顯著正相關。(2).台灣南部地區高中職生經驗父母批評否定之負向言語與害怕批評呈顯著正相關。(3).台灣南部地區高中職生經驗父母侮辱拒絕及嘲笑貶損之負向言語與觀眾焦慮、害怕批評及社會逃避無顯著相關。(4).台灣南部地區高中職生感受羞愧感與社會焦慮各因素呈顯著正相關。(5).羞愧感在台灣南部地區高中職生經驗父母批評否定之負向言語與社會焦慮之間達到中介效果。最後，本研究根據研究結果進行討論，並提出家庭、學校與未來研究之建議。

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships among experiencing parents’ negative verbal words, shame and social anxiety of senior high school students in southern Taiwan. The study also tried to test the mediating effect of shame for the relationship between parents’ negative verbal words and social anxiety.
Sample in this study consisted of 1,703 students from senior high schools in southern Taiwan. In this study, the technique of statistical analyses included descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, nested regression models, and path analysis.
The results revealed that: (1). The senior high school students in southern Taiwan experiencing criticizing and denying negative verbal words were positively correlated with shame. (2). The students experiencing criticizing and denying negative verbal words were positively related with the fear of negative evaluation. (3). The participators experiencing insulting and rejecting, laughing and demanding negative verbal words had no correlation with audience anxiety, fear of negative evaluation and social avoidance. (4) Shame was positive related with social anxiety. (5). Shame had a mediating impact between experiencing parents’ negative verbal words and social anxiety. Finally, the study proposed some relevant suggestions based on the findings.
