    • 台灣建築屋頂鐵皮屋的普遍，是從城市到鄉村共同存在的現象。使用者在違法的加建、建築從業者對鐵皮屋加建細部與形式的輕忽漠視，與政府部門對鐵皮屋大量加建後影響整體風貌的消極態度，使得一般人對鐵皮屋既大量使用卻又抱持負面印象。鐵皮屋大量流行勢必有其原因與需求，因此探討台灣的鐵皮屋現象有其必要性與迫切性，也藉由了解鐵皮屋的形式、使用分布現況，針對現階段的缺點進行改善，使鐵皮屋去除負面化意象，並由此提出對未來鐵皮屋形式的探討與如何維持城鄉風貌的整體性。本論文之研究重點有三：第一、鐵皮屋普遍的原因，以氣候、材料的理論性資料與實際數據，探討鐵皮屋為何得以在台灣大量流行；第二、鐵皮屋的現況，以台南為抽樣範圍，實際調查鐵皮屋的形式、使用與分布情形，了解鐵皮屋在台灣的實際情況；第三、鐵皮屋的未來探討，從台灣城鄉風貌的現況，分析在不同區域形態中鐵皮屋對街道景觀的影響與問題，藉由對鐵皮屋的現況改善與街道景觀的整體規劃，以進行對鐵皮屋大量普遍下，台灣新城鄉風貌的試探。

    What we can see both in the urban and the country in Taiwan is the widespread of Light Gauge Steel Roof Construction. The owners of houses illegal construct additionally. Builders ignore the details and the forms of additional constructions on the roof. The government takes the omissive attitude toward the widespread of additional constructions on the roof, which indeed has an influence in overall cityscapes. The three points mentioned above affect people to hold the negative side toward the widespread of Light Gauge Steel Construction. There must be some reasons and requirements for the widespread of Light Gauge Steel Construction. Therefore, it’s really necessary and quiet urgent to investigate the phenomenon of Light Gauge Steel Construction in Taiwan. Besides, by understanding forms and currently widespread situations of Light Gauge Steel Construction, we can improve the draws immediately, which will help Light Gauge Steel Construction get rid of negative impressions from people. The most important, we will offer the forms of Light Gauge Steel Construction in the future and the ways to maintain the landscape in the urban and also in the country. The thesis focuses on the following three parts. First, the reasons why Light Gauge Steel Construction is so popular in Taiwan are stated according to the real data and the theoretic information of the climate and materials. Secondly, the current situations are described to understand Light Gauge Steel Construction’s real conditions in Taiwan. It will base on the sampling survey in Tainan, which includes the forms, applications and distributing conditions of Light Gauge Steel Construction in reality. Third, future investigations for Light Gauge Steel Construction are discussed. According to the currently urban and country situations in Taiwan, the thesis analyzes the effects and problems about Light Gauge Steel Construction against the street view, especially focusing on distinctions in areas. With the improvement of current Light Gauge Steel Construction situations and the entire planning of street views, it comes into being a new try of the brand urban and country in Taiwan even under the widespread of Light Gauge Steel Construction.
