台灣銀行業不斷受到金融自由化與國際化的衝擊,使得整體金融環境充滿轉機與危機,其中銀行家數過多以及銀行整體逾放比偏高是影響銀行經營績效的主要問題,所以銀行經理人除追求最大利潤外,銀行經營策略之差異化,已成為許多銀行為因應時代潮流變化以求降低成本、提高效率及改善資產品質之重要方法,以期能永續發展。
本研究從總體環境、產業面、個體面、行銷STP與經營績效等面向分析之,主要目的係探討個案銀行業者,就總體環境所面臨環境變遷,對自身所處之現況是機會或是威脅影響。個案銀行業者就現狀評估所處經營環境,是機會或威脅影響有何差異?探討個案銀行業者因應環境變遷,與其所採用策略間之關係?個案銀行業者因應策略又有何差異?瞭解個案銀行業者,其市場定位、區隔(業務內容)有何差別,其各採取因應策略之差異。樣本之抽取乃藉由銀行產業為實證研究之對象,以驗證研究之目的。
本研究結果發現,不管是國營銀行、單一通路的個案銀行,或是已經成為金融控股公司的業者,其實免不了購併、被購併與產品創新等經營策略,主要為滿足消費大眾、投資人等需求,以多元化的商品與服務提供給客戶一次購足服務(One-Stop-Shopping Service)。未來,向外購併、向內整合與產品創新等經營策略,皆為國營銀行、單一通路的個案銀行或金融控股公司業者發展的唯一方向,唯有掌握其中的訣竅,與成功購併以壯大規模,並且將創新產品不斷轉化成為獲利來源,才能永續經營與成長。
根據上述之研究結果,本研究分別針對實務界與後續研究提出建議。
The banking industry is turning from the traditional large scale business into global liberalization and internationalization in Taiwan. The banking industries take the advantage of economic scale and the competitive managerial characteristic to be blooming in both rural and metropolitan area over the country. However, at the era of operating orientation super-competitive, a universal operating strategy adopted by the banking industries can not satisfies the versatile demand of customers lived in different location.
This paper explores a case study of a famous affiliated banking industry in Taiwan. We apply professional method to interview the banking industry into five managerial type groups according to the geographical location and the business scale of the store. The operating strategies adopted by all type groups are analyzed, and the operating strategies of the banking in every group also investigated to examine the adequacy of the strategy of each group in the super-competitiveness-oriented perspective.
The result shows that although the feature and strategy of banking industry in each group are distinguishing, the current operating strategies adopted by banks in the banking industry are homogeneous. We propose correspondent operating strategies for banks of each managerial type with respect to the differentiating strategy of the banking they face.
According to the results, some suggestions are made the industries in this field.
