摘要
有越來越多的高速率資料傳輸、多媒體與互動傳輸之應用在個人電腦、筆記型電腦、甚至家庭娛樂裝置已成為需求,而極寬頻技術提供我們每秒480M bit的資料傳輸服務,能使高畫質電視與DVD在無線環境中播放成為可能。在本論文中,將發展一張模擬極寬頻技術的網路卡,同時建立開發平台上的韌體程式設計及個人電腦端的驅動程式。極寬頻技術在現今仍是一項發展中的技術,在這論文中,主要的挑戰將為提供一個有效的硬體媒體存取機制與高速傳輸驅動程式。
Abstract
More and more applications which base on high rate data transmission, multimedia & interactive real-time transmission have become the requirements for our PCs, notebooks or even home entertainment devices. The UWB technique provides us with 480Mbps transmission service and makes HDTV, DVD playing in wireless environment becoming possible. In this thesis, i will develop a network interface card using UWB technique. Firmware and device driver will be designed simultaneously. The UWB technique is still under development nowadays and the main challenge of this thesis is to provide an effective hardware MBOA MAC mechanism and device driver with high rate data transmission.
