自2019年全球爆發新冠肺炎疫情，影響全球經濟活動，2022年在疫情受到控制下，臺灣央行進行寬鬆貨幣政策，多次進行升息。本研究以2020年至2023年的臺灣上市二十一家塑膠產業資料，以敘述統計說明、Pearson相關分析檢定、成對樣本t檢定來了解升息政策對獲利能力之相關性。
實證結果指出，塑膠產業上市公司在升息前後期間，各項獲利能力指標(資產報酬率、權益報酬率、稅前純益佔實收資本比率、純益率及每股盈餘)均有顯著的影響。

Since the outbreak of the global COVID-19 pandemic in 2019, which significantly impacted global economic activities, the Central Bank of Taiwan implemented an accommodative monetary policy and raised interest rates several times in 2022, when the epidemic was under control. This study analyzes data from 21 publicly listed plastics companies in Taiwan from 2020 to 2023 to examine the relationship between interest rate hike policies and profitability. The analysis employs narrative statistical descriptions, Pearson correlation tests, and paired sample t-tests.
The empirical results indicate that various profitability indicators (ROA, ROE, ratio of pre-tax net profit to paid-in capital, PROM and EPS) of listed companies in the plastics industry are significantly affected before and after the interest rate hike.
