公園是都市的人為環境中尚能保有自然特質的場所。公園綠地可以提供不同面向的重要功能。為都市發展設施中具極關鍵性的設施之一。公園相對於都市之重要性不容置疑，審視公園的角度也應以永續的觀點全面性的審查，目前現有的公園己逐漸老舊而不能發揮其應有的功能，極缺乏永續發展之理念，因此使得目前都市公園之發展與使用不盡理想，進而影響市民的生活品質及生活環境。

　　在目前都市公園之增闢已日益困難的情形下，重視現有公園的品質是非常重要的。需要監視及評估既有都市公園之發展狀態與使用模式與永續發展利用的關係，以做為後續制定都市公園維護與再發展策略之基礎。

　　將針對與民眾日常生活中，最息息相關的鄰里公園做探討，建立永續發展利用的評估模式來監測公園的發展，可藉此適時適當的修正其發展狀況，以使其隨時保持最佳狀態，並藉此找出最需要優先改善的鄰里公園以及需要進行的方式，以作為政府公園管理單位在做決策時的參考。

　　本研究擬定一評估鄰里公園永續性之評估架構，以高雄市為實證研究對象。結果顯示高雄市在各項目皆有需要改善的空間，並建議往後更新時，需要加強複層植栽等生態設計、摒棄以往規格化設施，設置獨特美質體貼之設施、落實永續再生的觀念，營運良好環境教育的場所。

　The park is the place that the artificial environment of the city can still be protected and had the speciality naturally . The park can offer different important functions. Have one of the extremely key facilities in order that the city develops facilities. The park is to the importance of the city undoubtedly, it should be with the sustainable examination with comprehensive view. The present existing park is old gradually but can't give play to its due function , lack idea of sustainable development very much , so make development of urban park at present and use unsatisfactorily, and then influence citizens' quality of the life and environment.

　The opening up newly it already under the difficult situation day by day of the urban park at present, it is very important to pay attention to the quality of the existing park. Need to monitor and assess the relation of the state of development and sustainable utilization of the urban park, regard doing as follow-up formulation urban park maintenance and redevelopment the of foundation.

　Will probe into the neighbourhood park, because it is correlated with daily life . The development that the assessment way to set up sustainable utilization monitored the park, can make use of this in good time proper its state of development of revision . Make the park keep the best state at any time, and find out and need to have priority in the improved neighbourhood park and need improved way, in order to be regarded as government's reference of the park while doing decision of management.

　The study draft a structure of neighbourhood park of a assessment, take Kaohsiung as an example. Showed finally that Kaohsiung all had improved space of need in every project. The park is while upgrading after proposing, need increasing vegetation diversity and coverage, abandoning standardization facilities, setting up unique and aesthetic facilities, sustainable and recycled idea of implementation, building the place of the good environmental education.
