空載雷射掃描是一種嶄新的大規模數值地形量測技術。它通常利用飛機或直昇機搭載一具高精度的雷射掃描器,並且藉著GPS和INS求出載體的位置和姿態,以求得地面掃描點的三維坐標。
雷射掃描器在安置時,可能產生雷射掃描器坐標系和機身坐標系的坐標軸不平行之情形,這兩個不平行的偏差量就是安置角。對於高精度的雷射掃描量測工作來說,安置角的率定是必要的,但其率定必須利用飛行掃描所得到的資料來完成。本文就是針對安置角的率定提出一套有效率的方法與流程,使這項工作可以自動化進行。實驗的結果證實,利用本文所提的方法所得到的成果要比採用人工進行率定的成果較好,而且因為採用了大量的觀測量進行計算,所以實驗的成果也較為可靠。
Airborne laser scanning is a rather new technique for generating huge DEM. It is realized with an airplane or a helicopter that carries a highly accurate laser scanner for measurement, and GPS for the positioning as well as INS for the orientation in order to obtain the 3D coordinates of the laser measurement points on the Earth surface.
When laser scanner is mounted on the carrier, it may occur that the laser scanner coordinate system and the carrier body coordinate system is misaligned. The angles of the misalignments are so call mounting angles. For highly accurate laser scanning works, the calibration procedure of the mounting angles is necessary, and it is possible to be carried out off-line. The purpose of the study is to develop an effective method and procedure for automation calibration. The results of experiment show that the automation calibration can obtain better and more reliable achievements than the man-made calibration, because huge observations are used in the automation calibration.
