摘要
膨脹接頭通常可由一個或多個波紋管組成的裝置,在工程中的應用日益廣泛,主要用於吸收管道系統或儀器設備因溫度引起的管道變化,並且可以作為隔絕機械振動的元件。本文應用有限元素分析依據彈性與材料力學理論,探討矩形波紋管承受壓力之平面與柱狀失穩行為。內容包含矩形波紋管承受內壓與內壓加軸向位移分析、線性失穩與非線性失穩分析比較,最後探討幾何參數對於臨界壓力、失穩模態與軸向剛度的影響。根據有限元素分析結果顯示,當承受內壓加軸向拉伸位移時,波紋管失穩臨界壓力會上升。反之,承受內壓加軸向壓縮位移,臨界壓力會下降。波紋管幾何外形的改變不僅影響臨界壓力與軸向剛度,甚至影響失穩模態的變化。
Abstract
Expansion joints are widely used in engineering to compensate the thermal deformation or to isolate the vibration in piping systems. The joint structures compose of one or several bellows. In this paper, linear and nonlinear finite element analyses are performed to study the effects of bellow geometry on the critical pressure when inplane and column instabilities occur. The results show that the critical pressure of in-plane and column instabilities increase as the tensile deformation is applied and vice versa for compressive deformation. The parameter studies on the axial rigidity are also included in this paper.
