在消費性市場的劇烈變動特性與愈來愈短的產品生命週期衝擊下;不適當的庫存管理勢必將造成跌價的損失,反而侵蝕獲利水準。在傳統供應鏈運作過程,常以預測的方式來決定區域倉庫的庫存量(水準),造成區域倉庫堆積著大量的存貨,而卻總是短缺客戶所需要產品的問題,屢見不鮮。
有鑑於預測的不確定性對供應鏈運作所造成的干擾,因此,供應鏈策略的擬定有助於企業掌握供應鏈的整體運作。為了解決上述問題,本研究將應用限制理論(Theory of Constraints, TOC)觀念,以需求牽引(Demand-pull)取代過去以預測(Forecast)生產的生產模式;試行“動態庫存管理”來管控庫存水準,並使用其發展出來的需求牽引(Demand-pull)與緩衝管理(Buffer management)方式,並以一家光電材料公司的案例,驗證限制理論的庫存管理方式,可以幫助公司降低整體的庫存水準以及達到滿足客戶的需要。
實際驗證結果顯示,以限制理論的庫存管理方式運作在存貨天 (Day-Of -Supply, DOS)及 客戶需求允諾率(Ship-To-Request, STR)的績效表現皆優於驗證前之表現。期冀透過理論的探討與實際資料的驗證,希望能找出一些有助於光電材料公司因應市場景氣波動之對策,避免產生大量的庫存損失,進而提昇企業之應變彈性能力,提高獲利。
While the violent fluctuation characteristic of consuming market, the shorter and shorter product life cycle are attacking in this current environment. The unwell inventory will directly be caused the price down also erode profit level. All too often the operate process in the traditional supply chain, often decide the amount of stock(level) of district warehouse by predicting, make the district warehouse piled up a great deal of stock, but always run short the problem of category that customer need, often see not fresh.
Regarding the confusion of supply chain comes from the uncertain forecast, consequently, the draw-up of supply chain strategy contributes to the whole operation that the enterprise controls a supply chain. In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, this research will apply the Theory of Constraints, TOC idea, with the "Demand-pull" to replace pass by with predict "Forecast" for production. Use as the level of the control stock by "dynamic inventory management", also use this theory to develop the Demand-pull and Buffer management solutions. We research the theory in an optoelectronics material company to identify the Theory of Constraints management method can help a company to reduce whole stock level and reach to satisfy customer's demand.
The actual identification indicates as a result that with the inventory management of Theory of Constraints method in Day-Of-Supply(DOS)and Ship-To-Request(STR). Those performances are better than before. We hopes through the research of the theories and the identification of the actual data also hope to find out some strategies to help the company of the optoelectronics material to respond the motion of the market economic prosperity and avoid producing a great deal of stock loss and then promote an enterprise of meet an emergency flexible ability, raise profit.
