藉由色彩在建築發展的歷史可以得知,色彩在建築的研究與應用上有兩項困難:(1)色彩心理:設計師無法實質的將人們對於色彩的感覺與喜好具體並多元的應用於建築計畫上。(2)經驗法則:當設計人員無法具體提出用色立論時,大多採取經驗法則,以個人經驗與口頭修辭去描述色彩使用。由上述我們可以發現,在建築應用上,僅能對色彩做感覺性描述而無法量化應用,因而也造成色彩科學在建築領域的應用與研究瓶頸。
爲解決上述問題本研究以感性工學為基礎以了解一般大眾對於建築色彩的感覺需求,並以問卷調查及統計分析,篩選出代表性的建築意象語彙製作問卷語彙尺度。接著應用電腦繪製實驗建築樣本,並採用日本色彩株式會社所發行的PCCS標準色票(a)色彩轉換Munsell表色值、RGB值及Lab值建立實驗色樣並套色於建築樣本中。問卷結果可藉由模糊理論將大眾對於建築色彩的意象感覺數值化,推算出符合大眾期待的意象主色調色彩,若欲再進一步做色彩搭配,則可藉由審美度及曼賽爾面積調和公式的計算,求得可與主色調搭配的高審美度襯色排序與色組搭配面積建議比值。彙整上述研究結果建立一電腦輔助建築色彩計畫諮詢系統,並將結果應用於建築色彩的規劃上,將抽象性心理感覺數值化為可應用數據以輔助設計師在進行色彩規劃時,可依消費者及市場的需求做主色調意象語彙諮詢及最佳化的色彩搭配建議,不但具體拉近設計師與大眾的用色距離、促進設計師色彩應用多元化,更可以達到以色彩輔助建築在環境色彩融合上的相關問題。
In history, there are two major issues found in the color application of architecture. One is the issue in mental color. Architects are hard to match the color preference of their clients with their building plans. The second is that designers rely on their experiences heavily when they cannot explain their concepts clearly. In this case, they describe their color matching with their subject descriptions. These are issues that subjective descriptions of color are hard to be quantified and applied. And these issues cause the bottleneck in the researches and applications of chromatics in architectural fields.
To solve the above problems, this study is based on Kansei engineering to understand how people feel to architecture color and apply statistics to sieve the representative vocabularies to architecture out as the scale in the questionnaire. Second, the architecture samples are built by computer drawing, and the color samples are selected from PCCS system, which are transformed into attribute values of Munsell system, RGB and Lab values. Then the architecture samples are colored with the RGB values. The architecture image could be quantified by fuzzy theory, and the popular expected main color image could be evaluated, and the order of colors matching to the main color tone and the ratio of these areas can be derived by calculating the aesthetics measurement and the color area ratio with the equation of Munsell area of Color harmony formula.
The results obtained from the research were then used to built a computer-aided architecture color consultative system, which applied were to color planning for architectures. Since the abstract psychological feeling is converted to quantity data, architects can use them to design the color image, main color tone, matching colors and so on, in accordance with the public and the market. The consultative system not only shortens the gap of designers and the public in the view point of color applying, but broadens the color which designers use, and even improves color scheme to the level of matching the whole environment.
