In this research, first we synthesized chromophore monomer which contain hydroxy group、two kind imide acid(BTI and 6FTI with flurocarbon). The four kinds of different ratio poly-imide-ester with flurocarbon were prepared from hydroxy group of chromophore monomer and acid group of imide acid. All the monomers and poly-imide-ester were characterized by using FT-IR、NMR and Uv-vis;using GPC to measure distribution of polymer molecular weight;using TGA and DSC to identify the thermal properties. Then we used reflectional method to measure EO coefficient and observed the degree of absorption changing after poling. Finally we observed the influence of temperature to EO coefficient and the flurocarbon influence the degree of dissoluation.
The result show that add flurocarbon to poly-imide-ester can promote Tg and get good higher EO coefficient. And also get better stabilization and the good degree of dissolution for general protonal solvent.
