Abstract
In this study, we gained the 13 core samples and the 125 drilling cutting samples of Well TSK-1 from CPC, and restructured the stratigraphic sequence of Well TSK-1 to clear the argument on the stratigraphic sequence of the Tsukeng anticline.
From the surface geological studying and the Eocene foraminifera Discocyclina exposed on Tsukeng surface and the samples of Well TSK-1, we got the several following results:
1、 By the morphometric measurement of the Eocene foraminifera Discocyclina fossils in Tsukeng area, this study refers to the Eocene Discocyclina in the Mediterranean area (Less, 2008), and assumes its age is late Mid-Eocene. In the view of Taphonomy, we believe the the Eocene foraminifera Discocyclina fossils are in-situ.
2、 The bedding above the Eocene foraminifera Discocyclina fossils containing the Eocene foraminifera , such as Globorotalia bullbrooki Bolli、Globorotalia spinulosa Cushman et al., is late Middle Eocene.
3、 Base on the fossils and the petrographic compositions of the Well TSK-1, we believes that there is a fault zone between 0 m to -350 m;the early Miocene Taliao Formation is between -350 m to -500 m;the late Oligocene Mushan Formation is between -500 m to -864 m; the late Oligocene Wuchihshan Formation is between -864 m to -1300 m; the formation between -1300 m to -1740 m is t the Eocene Chungliao Formation。The depth of -1740 m is Shuangtung fault, the formation under Shuangtung fault is Toukoshan Formation.
4、 The studying results of the TSK Well-1 as the same as the results of Huang et al. (2008,2009) are that there is a unconformity from Early Oligocene to Late Eocene. The Pinglin Tuff and the Chungliao Formation contain many reworking calcareous Nannoplanton fossils from Cretaceous to early Eocene, it represents that the Tsukeng area was a rifting basin near the Paikeng basement high in the past.
Key Words: Eocene、Pinglin Tuff、Large foraminifera、Tsukeng anticline
