  • 零擔貨運業者以收送小宗貨件為主要業務,配合各地設立之營業所與位居地理中樞之貨運轉運站(又稱中繼站),配合長程運輸與短程級配車隊而提供戶對戶之貨物服務。長途運輸網路與短程收送貨之終始均起自貨運轉運站,貨運轉運站為零擔貨運業者內部與外部網路之間甚為關鍵之操作樞紐,其作業效率影響整體服務品質甚鉅。
    本研究將對現今貨運轉運站之角色與其運作進行剖析,以系統模擬之方式建構完整模型,將作業效率之因素進行個別分析與探討比較,探究其因素對作業效率之影響層面與因素間之相互影響。主要目的在探討影響貨運轉運站作業之關鍵因素與分析,並以現有對象進行實證,期能讓成果更與實務貼近,而對零擔貨運業者提供實務運作之參考價值。

    The less-than-truckload industry (LTL industry) takes delivery of package as its main business. It is a door to door package-delivering service offering by cooperating with stations setting at each place and the terminal (hub) located in the geographic center and using long-distance transportation and short-distance package cars. The beginning and termination of the long-distance transportation network and short-distance package delivery both originate from the terminal therefore the terminal is the crucial operative pivot between internal and external network of the LTL industry and its operative performance affects quality of entire service greatly.

    This paper will analyze the role and operation of the terminal nowadays. We will build a complete model by system simulation and proceed with the separate analysis and discussion to the elements of operative performance in order to explore these elements’ effect to the operative performance and the mutual influence between each element. This research’s main purpose is to discuss the key factor and the analysis which can affect the terminal operation and through using the objects in existence, we wish that the result can be closer to the practical experiences. Thus this paper can have consulting value of practical operation to the LTL industry.
