本文探討臥式壓力容器承座包覆角度及間距變化對整體結構影響,可做為工程設計驗證的參考。
採用中鋼機械公司依ASME壓力容器設計規範所繪製工程圖,建立有限元素模型,以有限元素套裝軟體ANSYS進行數值結構分析,隨著壓力容器承座包覆角度及彼此間距不同,檢視當下壓力容器等效應力、環向應力、軸向應力分佈,評估對壓力容器安全性,指出承座較適合角度及間距。
本文研究數值分析結果,期能提供業界壓力容器之設計參考。
In conventional design of the pressure vessel, the ASME design codes have been adopted for many years. These design criteria are set up based on the mechanics of materials associated with experimental works. At the end of last century, the using of finite element packages becomes more and more important in mechanical design.
A stress analysis on the horizontal pressure vessel with different surrounding angles and pitches of supports is performed in this paper. The vessel is designed by CSMC (China Steel Machinery Corporation) according the ASME code. Before detail discussion, a simple cylindrical vessel connected with spherical shell is simulated to validate the accuracy of the stress analysis.
After performing the finite element analysis on the structure, the results of displacements and stresses can be compared with those obtained from the codes. To evaluate the optimum design on the geometry and location of supports, the distribution of effective stress, hoop stress and axial stress will be examined graphically. The methodology developed in the paper provides a efficient guideline in structural design.
