With the increasing importance of high-speed digital signals, the transmission channel need to be studied in detail. With electromagnetic simulation software, we can analyze the channel electromagnetic field in the frequency domain, and observe the time domain response after conversion. This thesis starts with the simulations of coaxial and planar transmission lines to discuss the impact of each variable on the eye diagram, and then modify the corner structure to improve the frequency response and its eye diagram. This thesis also compares the responses of low-pass filters and how to implement a filter that can control the signal transition time, through electromagnetic simulation and measurements.
