  • 本研究主要探討執行長的運動習慣與公司價值之關連性。本研究主張運動可提高認知功能、壓力應對以及工作表現,故預期有運動習慣的執行長對公司價值有正向影響。本研究以2015年到2018年為研究期間,實證結果發現,有運動習慣的執行長與公司價值呈現顯著正向關係。此外,有運動習慣的執行長所管理的公司,營運績效也愈好。本研究解釋了為何越來越多高級管理人員更加注重身體運動的養成。本研究得出的結果,可延申至其它個體若從事與執行長類似的工作內容時,有運動習慣是非常重要的。

    This research investigates the relevance of CEO's exercise habits and company value. This research claims that that exercise improves cognitive function, coping with stress, and work performance, therefore, CEOs with exercise habits are expected to have a positive impact on company value. The study period of this research is from 2015 to 2018, the results show that, CEOs with exercise habits have a strong positive relationship with company value. In addition, companies managed by CEOs who has exercise habits, show better operating performance. This research explains why more and more senior managers pay more attention to develop habits of physical exercise. According to this research, its results can be extended to other individuals, if they are engaged in similar tasks as CEO, that exercise habits do matter.
