近十年來網際網路的蓬勃發展,以及寬頻上網用戶數的急速成長,根據資策會統計,至去年底為止,台灣寬頻上網人口達一百一十三萬戶,今年可望上看二百萬戶,寬頻時代的來臨帶動了影音多媒體等各種寬頻產業的起飛,目前網路的趨勢潮流,藉由寬頻的通路,影音節目成了通路上必備且最具成效的內容,在寬頻內容服務的應用上,廣為所見的有隨選視訊、線上遊戲、視訊會議、遠距教學與電子商務等範疇,本研究在於針對隨選視訊系統(Video On Demand)上,建構出一個智慧型內容傳遞網路(Intelligent Content Delivery Network),主要目的是在現有的網路架構上新增一層網路架構服務,可完全針對影音資料的Content做最有效的管理機制與服務,提供遠端派送網路機制,並且經由智慧型的判斷可由最上層的媒體提供者對下層的媒體代理商與媒體觀眾/客戶提供可靠性與量身訂作的服務內容。
The advances and popularity in Internet grow fast in decade. According to the statistics of Institute For Information Industry, the population of broadband network reached one million and one hundred and thirty thousand up to the end of last year. And it probably will reach two million this year. The coming of broadband era promotes all kind of business about multimedia. With the tide of internet, the multimedia programs become the necessary and the most efficient content on the route. The applications of broadband network services include Video-On-Demand、On-line game、Videoconferencing、E-learning and E-commerce. This thesis builds an Intelligent Content Delivery Network which is based on Video-On-Demand system. The main purpose is to add a network service architecture on the Video-On-Demand system at present. We have fully management on our multimedia content and provide reliable and suitable services by using the intelligent judging.
