Governments all around the world are putting environmental rules into place to force corporations to comply with stricter environmental standards due to the growing severity of environmental pollution and global warming. At the same time, there is a steady increase in consumer awareness of environmental protection. As a result, businesses now depend heavily on green innovation to help them achieve sustainable development. Nevertheless, the majority of previous research has ignored the influence of political ties on green innovation decision-making within organizations in favor of examining the interaction between businesses and normal innovation. Thus, the purpose of this study is to look at how corporate political ties affect green innovation. The empirical research subjects for the study are including 869 Taiwanese enterprises that are listed from 2022 to 2023, as provided by the Taiwan Economic Journal (TEJ) database. The empirical results demonstrate that there is a negative relationship between political tie corporates and green innovation.
