以GSM無線通訊系統為架構的定位技術目前已廣泛的被探討,許多定位技術正在研究開發中。定位的應用範圍可以分為:安全、訊息、收費與追蹤,若能將定位的精確度達到一定的程度,那麼定位的功能將提供民生應用極大的利益。
本論文以GSM無線通訊系統為定位技術開發的基礎,利用時間前置法(Timing Advance, TA)及強制切換基地台的技術來做位置的估算。在行動台方面,我們利用WAVECOM WMOD2B來替代一般手機功能的不足,以便於電腦進行定位的運算,並使用一SIM卡多門號的技術來完成強制換手的動作,換手的過程從連線到斷線大約需要10秒鐘的時間,所以如何縮短定位的時間也是論文研究一個重點。在軟體方面,利用MapInfo公司的MapX來做定位程式的開發,讓我們方便去取得定位區域的資訊,再與GPS定位點比較即可得知定位的精確度。本文進行一系列的測試,實驗結果顯示,此種定位技術可以達到大約60公尺的精確程度。
At present, GSM location technology is generally probed for wider applications. Several technologies are developing. The scope of GSM positioning can be classified into security, information, tolling and tracking. If positioning can achieve enough accuracy, the functions can be much beneficial to livelihood applications.
This thesis proposes a new GSM location technology based on timing advance method and forced handover technology. In the experiments, we use WAVECOM WMOD2B as the mobile station, and complete forced handover by a multi-number SIM card, the process of handover spends 10 seconds from online to offline. However, it’s important to shorten the required location time. In the software, we use MapX for developing of location program and get information of location area more convenient. In the end, we compare with GPS to get location accuracy. The experiment shows that location technology is practicable in 60 meter accuracy.
