本研究以 ADVN 為起始劑、己內醯胺為保護基進行活性自由基聚合,合成三種不同結構的團鏈式共聚合物。在合成的過程中以凝膠滲透層析儀檢測高分子鏈分子量成長情況,證實此聚合法具有活性聚合的特徵。接著製備出苯乙烯(Styrene) - 甲基丙烯酸甲酯(MMA)團鏈式共聚合物,並以各種鑑定方式確認其結構,從 AFM 的觀察得知產物具有微相分離成孔洞狀的情形發生。另也測試此團鏈共聚合物在不同均聚物比例混掺系統中的自組裝情形。結果顯示此團鏈共聚合物可以提高分散性和系統的穩定度。接著合成具有親、疏水鏈段的團鏈式共聚合物;苯乙烯(Styrene) - 丙烯酸-2-羥乙基酯(HEMA) ,並於 AFM 觀察下,得知其會因相分離產生許多顆粒狀凸起的現象。本文測試了在不同均聚物比例混掺系統中的自組裝情形,以及不同鏈段比例的自組裝結果。最後,合成甲基丙烯酸丁酯(BMA) - 甲基丙烯酸甲酯(MMA)的團鏈式共聚合物。其 DSC 的熱分析結果顯示到該團鏈式共聚合物擁有雙玻璃轉移溫度,這是團鏈式共聚合物的特徵。
Three kinds of diblock copolymers had been successful synthesized by using the ADVN as initiator and Caprolactam as the capping agent for Living-Free-Radical-Polymerization. From the GPC results, the molecular weight of polymer was increased with the reaction time, which was consistent with the living radical polymerization. Then we synthesized PSMMA diblock copolymers and confirmed the structure in various identification ways. From the AFM results, the copolymers show hole-like micro-phase separation and copolymer mixed with homopolymers show the degree of phase separation was decreased due to the diblock copolymer added.
And then we synthesized PSHEMA diblock copolymers and confirmed the structure in various identification ways. From the AFM results, the copolymers show particle-bulge-like micro-phase separation. We also mixed the copolymers with homopolymers and observed the self-assembly by AFM.
Finally, we synthesized PBMAMMA diblock copolymers and confirmed the structure in various identification ways. In DSC analysis, we known PBMAMMA diblock copolymers had two glass transition temperatures. It was a feature for diblock copolymers. We also mixed the copolymers with homopolymers and observed the self-assembly by OM.
