  • 冷卻水塔是空調機及其他熱系統在排除大量廢熱時最有效益的方式,但冷卻水塔的運作往往耗用大量的水資源,這其中有許多非必要的耗水,尤其是當空調系統處於部分負載下。
    本文,利用一商業化的3噸冷卻水塔,並將一變頻控制器加裝在原本風扇馬達上,使其可隨著冷卻負載作變速的調整,在利用此可變轉速的冷卻水塔,建立一實驗迴路,來模擬一熱冷卻系統。
    文中之實驗測試主要是突顯出在部分負載下能夠省水及省電的程度。

    Evaporative cooling towers are among the most-efficient and cost-effective technologies for rejecting waste heat from air conditioning and otherthermal systems to the atmosphere. In the operation of cooling towers, however, they use significant volumes of water. In fact, the actual water consumption for a cooling tower is usually much more than it is necessary especially when it is operated under partial load.
    In this thesis, a commercialized 3-tons cooling tower was used to set up a test loop, which simulates an actual cooling system. A frequency-modulating control was added to the original fan motor such that the fan speed can be modulated according to the cooling load.
    The object of our tests in the study was focused on the actual conservation of water and electric energy under partial cooling load conditions.
