  • 本論文主要將就「創意城市」這個議題作簡要的學理上的探討,並以2008年高雄設計節活動之一「藝想城市(Re-imagining the City)」活動作為實務操作的案例,不僅介紹活動內容,更就筆者身為該活動統籌者的角色作觀察與研究,在論文中提出一己之觀點,以供參考。內容大要簡述如下:
    第一章:緒論。說明本論文的研究動機、研究目的、研究範圍暨途徑。
    第二章:創意城市。探討「創意城市」的概念緣起、定義,及為什麼城市需要創意,簡要介紹本議題的發展現況及個人對這個議題的未來展望。
    第三章:創意城市的台灣經驗-以高雄市為例。對高雄市的地理環境、歷史沿革作一探討,並簡述創意城市之高雄經驗。
    第四章:2008高雄設計節之「藝想城市(Re-imagining the City)」。簡介2008高雄設計節的活動內容,並詳盡介紹由筆者統籌之藝想城市(Re-imagining the City)活動,以及發表本活動在經過無數次開會討論中,對東亞地區發展創意城市之策略之建議。
    第五章:結論。「創意城市」這個議題,應該是每一個人都必須關切的事。「藝想城市(Re-imagining the City)」這個活動雖然已經結束,但留下來的經驗希望能夠讓所有關心此議題人們作為參考。

    This research investigates the concept of "Creative City" and the theories on which this concept is based. It furthermore conducts a case study on the concept of "Creative City." The subject of the case study is one of the components of the 2008 Kaohsiung Design Festival: Re-imagining the City. This research presents the overall scheme of the event as well as the insights observed In Chapter 1, I will give an introductory accounts to the motive, objective and subject matters of this research. In Chapter 2, the origin and the definition of Creative City, along with its direction for development will be discussed. In Chapter 3, I will take Kaohisung as an example, investigates its natural and geographical resources, and examines its history on developing itself as a creative city. Chapter 4 is an analysis of “Re-imagining the City” Project in Kaohsiung at 2008 Kaohsiung Design Festival. Chapter 5 is the conclusion of this thesis.
