  • 本論文以Microsoft Excel電子試算表進行曲線與嚙合機構的推導與分析,並且建立出相關的模擬。此軟體不但可用在機構分析方面,也適用在課程教學上,尤其是在教導齒輪嚙合的基礎理論。軟體中的參數可以被受變更並藉由動畫般的視覺輔助來提升使用者的理解。
    軟體的建立主要採用齒輪原理之坐標轉換矩陣來進行曲線方程式的推導。首先會藉由曲線推導來了解其空間上的意義而之後由此結果應用在機構建立與模擬。接著使用齒輪原理概念以及得取的曲線方程式撰寫出嚙合機構的模擬並詳細說明設計步驟。除此之外,除了機構上的模擬此軟體可以進行機構的運動分析,以凸輪機構為主進行其旋轉與從動件的位移關係。
    對於本論文所討論的案例各有附上其對應的試算表檔案,使用者可以自由調整參數值並觀察此參數對機構的影響。可以利用已設計好的檔案進行結果分析而其附加的圖表會隨著參數改變而同步變化,使可以協助於認證所計算出來結果的正確性。
    由本論文可以證明確實能夠以電子試算表設計出人性化的分析軟體而此軟體可做為未來建立更加完整以及更廣闊軟體的開拓者。電子試算表具有進行問題分析之潛能,也能夠作為工程分析相關作業所使用的一個強大的分析工具的好選擇。

    This thesis presents Microsoft Excel spreadsheet programs for the derivation and analysis of curves and meshing mechanisms. Such programs can be used to assist in the teaching of gearing fundamentals as well as the analysis of mechanisms. These programs contain parameters for the user to modify and provide graphic animations to enhance the understanding by means of visual aids.
    This thesis begins with the basics of theory of gearing and the application of coordinate transformation matrices. Once the method is explained, derivations of geometric curves are performed and these curves are used in meshing mechanism applications. Next, the discussion focuses on the synthesis and simulation of meshing mechanisms such as gears and pistonless engines by using the theory of gearing. Furthermore, a detailed procedure for the design of such simulations is provided. Finally, this thesis discusses the use of spreadsheet in the analysis of cam-follower mechanisms.
    This thesis provides spreadsheet files that simulate the cases discussed, which offer users to freely modify the parameters. Using such files, the analysis of mechanical systems can be performed, and animated plots that synchronize with the change of data can help in the verification of the results.
    It is demonstrated that spreadsheets have the capabilities to develop programs with user-friendly interface and these files can serve as a base for more advanced programs applied in a wide variety of applications. Spreadsheet programs have the potential to perform analysis and serve as a powerful tool in engineering applications.
