隨著市場全球化的改變與競爭，客戶訂單變化不定，競爭對手不斷增加，生產成本持續的增加而利潤也相對的減少，因此在新的商業模式尚未出現之前，企業該思考採用能有效降低成本、提升產品品質或是縮短交期時間等，藉由導入精實活動的做法，來發掘與改善生產思維上沒有注意到的盲點，藉由消除生產流程中的浪費，藉以提高企業整體的競爭力，使企業能長久經營與發展。
本研究以精實管理的生產模式來針對國內一家生產汽車窗簾之專業製造廠的布簾生產過程來做為個案研究對象，由於其前置時間長且在製品數量過多，因此本研究以精實生產之價值流圖之研究方法分析探討布簾加工的作業，以進行相關製程流程改善，並找出流程中無法創造價值的活動，進而消除不必要的浪費。
藉由價值流圖繪製的分析、建構連續流、製程合併重組、生產線佈置重新規劃等相關改善，目前產線邊在製品放置空間由49.67平方公尺降至8.64平方公尺，改善效益為82.62%；搬運次數由11次降為0次，改善效益高達100%，而生產前置時間由57小時縮減至8.5小時，改善效益為85.9%，單張布簾產出流程時間由345秒縮短至93.5秒，改善效益達72.97%，另布簾在製品庫存總數由4000張降為1500張，改善效益亦有62.5%。由各項改善數據得知，精實生產的理論基礎確實可運用於布簾加工流程改善，並能有效消除浪費達成的精實目標。

Therefore, before the emergence of new business models, enterprises should consider adopting effective cost reduction. , improve product quality or shorten delivery time, etc., by introducing lean activities to discover and improve blind spots that are not noticed in production thinking, and eliminate waste in the production process to improve the overall competitiveness of the enterprise , so that the enterprise can operate and develop for a long time.
This research takes the production mode of lean management as the case study object for the curtain production process of a professional manufacturer of automobile curtains. The research method of production value stream map analyzes and discusses the operation of curtain processing, so as to improve the related process flow, and find out the activities that cannot create value in the process, so as to eliminate unnecessary waste. through the analysis of the value stream mapping, creating continuous flow, the merger and reorganization of the process, the re-planning of the production line and other related improvements, the current WIP storage space at the production line has been reduced from 49.67 square meters to 8.64 square meters, and the improvement benefit is 82.62% ; The number of handling is reduced from 11 to 0, the improvement benefit is as high as 100%, and the production lead time is reduced from 57 hours to 8.5 hours, the improvement benefit is 85.9%, and the single curtain production process time is shortened from 345 seconds to 93.5 Second, the improvement efficiency reached 72.97%, and the total number of curtain WIP inventory decreased from 4000 to 1500, and the improvement efficiency also reached 62.5%. According to various improvement data, the theoretical basis of lean production can indeed be applied to improve the curtain processing process, and can effectively eliminate waste to achieve the lean goal.
