數位學習在資訊科技的快速發展下,使得各種數位化的教材、課程蓬勃的開發與使用,但過多的資訊、資料,反而造成學習者的障礙,迷失於過多的資訊之中,而不知從何學起。正因為如此,各種數位學習的標準變相繼推出,試圖讓數位教材、學習平台能有統一的標準,其中SCORM(Sharable Content Object Reference Model)更是最受矚目的一個標準。但是,卻都遭遇了一些問題,例如:如何透過網際網路使得教材能夠互通、重用,教材資料過於豐富卻缺乏語意描述,反而使得學習者無法得到適當、適合的資料。
因此,在本研究中,應用語意網(Semantic Web)的觀念,並使用其中的語意語言來建構「基本電學」辭書,由於領域辭書(Domain Ontology)即是結合了該領域的專家知識、觀念及歸納,使用此辭書再與符合SCORM標準的學習元件元資料(Learning Object Metadata ,LOM),進行辭書化,使得課程間隱含的關係得以清楚的顯現,用來支援語意式查詢的應用。當使用語意式查詢辭書化後的課程時,其實也已經接受了專家對該課程的歸納及引導,而能獲得適性的學習。
Due to the rapid development of information technology, more and more digital curriculum and learning materials are well-developed and available. However, such a vast large amount of information and material may hinder learners from learning efficiently. Learners are very likely to be confused with too much information, not knowing where and how to begin their learning. As a result, various criteria of digital learning have been introduced in order to establish the standard which can be applied to learning material as well as learning platforms. Among those criteria, SCORM is the most adopted one. However, those criteria are faced some challenges which may deprive learners of the appropriate material, such as how to exchange and apply learning materials of different resources by means of the Internet, and how to improve the semantic descriptions of the resourceful learning materials.
This study aims at constructing the ontology for Basic Electricity based on the concept and the language of semantic web. Since the domain ontology includes the knowledge, conceptions, and generalizations within the relevant discipline, we may use the LOM in conformity with SCORM as well as the domain ontology to internalize the ontology into the discipline. By doing so, the hidden relationship among various curricula can be highlighted and supplementary to the inquiry on semantic aspects. When the users try to understand the ontology-based curriculum by means of the inquiry on semantic aspects, they have been instructed by the experts and entitled the adaptive learning.
