在這個產業環境變動快速,新科技與其應用不斷推層出新的時代下,企業繼續依賴過去的策略或做法,可能會導致其商業模式遭受破壞而慌了陣腳,因此在面對科技衝擊的情況下,除了需要檢視企業自身的商業模式外,必須找出企業的核心資源,才能掌握趨勢展現企業的競爭優勢。然而,從過去以來商業模式的定義與解釋並無不明確,因此本研究會先歸納出商業模式之重點要以描述個案公司;又,過去資源基礎理論著重在企業本身的內部資源,較少關注內外資源的整合,更明確的說應該是,企業內部與外部的資源界線將越來越模糊,因而本研究要探討的是能夠使得企業擁有持久競爭優勢的核心資源。
本研究以商業模式以及資源基礎理論的角度來探討與競爭優勢之間之關係,個案公司為精誠資訊,截至2017年,在天下雜誌「台灣兩千大調查」中已連續11年獲得台灣軟體業第一名的寶座。過去有相當多的研究探討商業模式與競爭優勢之關係以及資源基礎理論與競爭優勢之關係,但其實這三項理論是彼此影響的,因此,希望藉由回顧理論並歸納出商業模式的重點要素、資源基礎理論之核心資源之意義,來與競爭優勢做進一步的討論。本研究採用質性研究中的單一個案研究,深入探討精誠資訊之商業模式及其核心資源與競爭優勢之間的關係。
The research deeply explores the competitive advantage from the perspective of business model and resource-based theory by using qualitative single case study. Through exploration, the research found the relevance between the business model, core competency and competitive advantage. In the past, lot of studies explored the relevance between the business model and the relevance between resource and competitive advantage, but there is no case study about the relevance among these three theories. The research used qualitative case study is because we want to know the experience of the strategy of the company and that can’t analyze through collecting data. The case study was SYTEX corporation, we described the factors of the business model first, then we found the core competency, that is the customers, the people in SYSTEX and the integrated technology ability, so we can review the strategy and competitive advantage.
We found that the consistency between the business model and the strategy through describing the business model of the case study and finding the core competency. It proves that “structure follows strategy; strategy follows environment”. Therefore, we could get the conclusion of the business model and core competency will influence the competitive advantage.
