在設計的前階段裡,設計師會藉由各種資訊的載體;包含網際網路、或書籍雜誌等來搜尋相關資料,以刺激設計概念的發想或尋找解決的方法。基於如此,進一步藉由網際網路與虛擬實境的技術,將設計相關的資訊,以超媒體的形式含蓋在一個虛擬空間中,將資訊建構在虛擬物件中,透過虛擬實境的操作,將資訊回饋與傳遞給使用者。
透過虛擬實境技術,藉由整體場景的規劃、虛擬空間建立、多媒體資料庫、與超連結的互動式資訊彼此相互結合;提出一個虛擬資訊空間(Virtual Information Space)的概念,簡稱VIS。在虛擬資訊空間裡,提供給使用者不單僅是資訊的回饋,而是多種感官的刺激與接收,並且使用者可以直接操作每個虛擬物件,以最直覺的方式與操作,得到設計相關的資訊回饋。透過虛擬空間的特性,進一步提出創新的互動超媒體形式;包含懸浮的互動資訊版、任意操控虛擬物件、超文件與物件的關係等等。如何有效的整合於虛擬實境的網際網路中,幫助使用者得到有用的( useful )、有效的( effective)、與多元化的(multiple)資訊。
針對互動超媒體結合在虛擬實境中,透過使用者直覺式的操作,探討資訊所呈現的形式與可能性。最終希望藉由使用者直覺式生活經驗的延伸,應用在虛擬互動超媒體上,讓使用者獲得資訊的方式,不再是透過一連串的指令而是實地的虛擬操作,達到更人性化的最終目標。
In the beginning design progress, the designer will use all kinds of informative vehicle to search relative design data; including Internet, books, and the magazine, in order to stimulate design concept development or look for a method to solve problems. Therefore, the research uses the technology of Internet and Virtual Reality, try to integrate design information in a virtual space by hypermedia format. The information builds up in the virtual object, user can catch information feedback by operating in virtual reality.
Using virtual reality technology, we can plan and build up all virtual space, and combine multimedia data-based and interactive hyperlink. Therefore, the research brings up a concept of Virtual Information Space (VIS). In the virtual information space, offer to the user not only the information feedback but also stimulating and receiving by multiple senses. The user can operate each one of virtual objects and catch design relative information by the intuition mode. By the virtual characteristic, the research brings up some innovated formats in interactive hypermedia; including interactive information plates float in the space, operate (rotate/zoom/simulate interactive) virtual objects, and new interactive between hypertext and objects. It helps user get useful, effective, and multiple design information in the environment integrate Internet and Virtual Reality.
In accordance with interactive hypermedia combines to virtual reality, the research is to confer the possible and mode by information display. Finally, a wise the user can extend their life experience in the virtual information space. It helps the user get information by operating in the virtual reality replays a set of command. Step by step forward to the aim that the users are friendly.
