本論文建立在高雄731氣爆過後的災區及長時間的重建計畫,藉以整合都市中介面、環境學習以及災後紀念性的三個子題。
我所關心的是在災難過後,延伸出石化能源高風險及高污染的問題。
在地平面上下之間,有意識的走讀環境,來回應我對都市、能源及災難空間的態度。
論文的進行包括四個部分:
1.工業血脈
歷史上的高雄城與石化產業有著密不可分之關係。
伴隨十大建設促使更多的工業設施在港邊築起,潛藏著巨大的危機和影響,必須重新審視工業化城市的未來和轉機
2.策略手法
A.環境教育。
拉近對環境的認識,透過教育讓大眾有知識和能力來面對當今的環境問題,達到永續發展的目標。
B.黑暗觀光。
到訪曾經發生重大災害和傷亡的基地,體驗、追思、檢視及警醒,擴大黑色的張力,觸發內心深處最真實的感受。
3.基地回應
A.社會性/公共性的記錄。
對當時災害處理情形的蒐集,包含災害理解、緊急應變方案、災害處理、區域管制及疏散動線等。
B.災難空間/建築型式。
地表上破裂的紋理之於開放的公共空間;衝突的身體感知與材料空間語彙的回應。
4.設計投射
此階段為整起事件的重構及回溯分別從三個尺度進行:
A.都市尺度_公共運輸系統網絡串連三處設計/太陽能源系統
B.基地尺度_災難數據資料疊加
C.建築尺度_設計一引爆點(物理環境體驗盒)/設計二轉折點(公民會堂)/設計三重生點(都市墓園)
5.兩場對話
A.深入災區,了解災民和自救會組織對氣爆事件看法
B.研究成果評審,成功大學建築研究所碩士論文口試
SUMMARY
The thesis concerns about high risks in petroleum and chemical energy in Kaohsiung influence our living environment. Construct on the long terms re-built cases, thinking about
learning from environment, urban interface and memorial after explosion. Taking explosions location and timeline for design respond.
The thesis consists of four parts:
1. Kaohsiung City Background
This study explores Kaohsiung city development in industrialized background influence urban arteries and veins changed, re-think about their complicated relation between industry and Kaohsiung city.
2. Strategy
In this stage, we construct the re-built system prototype from two issues:
2.1 Environment Learning: sustainable vision and disaster district data base collection
2.2 Dark Tourism: through three designs within these explosion locations, leading to another tour type, for remember, for education or even for entertainment. Aimed to increase people
concern more about our living and public safety. All the tourism routes connect with traffic system, hope can reduce pollution and become a friendly city.
3. Explosion Site Respond for Design Development
According the analyze results from disaster zones, supply them from urban scale to architecture design operate.
4. Design Presentation
Back to the location and the moment, discussed how to learn from this catastrophe, construct a sustainable surrounding also becomes unique viewpoint in the city.
INTRODUCTION
Through such a great catastrophic event, how could we learn from it and reprogram a new construction method in city. We purpose two issues by learning from environment and dark
tourism route to build up the reconstruct prototype.
According to historical data and official documents, Kaohsiung city mature it’s urban planning from Japanese colonial period, Kaohsiung becomes an important position for their southern expansion intrude, along coastline build harbor, machine industry and oil station
also construct transportation developments, become radial and grid traffic network. After the second World War, the KMT government expanded Japanese urban spatial structure, started focus on industrial development and construction. Nowadays it involved in urban planning, land use and industrial characteristics. 731 explosion in Kaohsiung was occurred
to Qianzhen through Lingya District, tripped through houses containing chemical materials caused 32 death and hundred of people injured. Kaohsiung government immediately arranged a long terms reconstruct plan. Therefore we use those disaster data base combine with traffic network become a dark tourism route also response industry development between sustainable future and energy issue. Through the particular landscape and architecture form continuously walk up and down between ground level, aimed to recognize unknowing underground and bring to tourists another experience.In the end, we claimed an attitude, started care about our living environment and bring us a better city, better life.
METHODS(DESIGN APPROACH)
The thesis followed by two issues:
1. Learning in environment, emphasize learn in real surrounding about knowledge, attitude and skill. After 19 century we consume a lot of nature resources till today we faced with the industry pollution, global warming, scourge and climate change. Therefore we need to face those problems and lead people care about it. Through the education, people start to notice and prevention we all may confront in the future.
2. An unusual travel genre arrange in sites, which have associated with war, genocide,assassination and tragic events. Built with specific tourists who curious about death,
violence, evil and holocaust. Depend on this explosion in Kaohsiung belongs to catastrophe and dark place tourism, satisfy their motive to pursue an experience, positive curious, hidden voyeuristic and reminiscence. Through these dark attractions recognize the complicate feelings bring from the disaster.

CONCLUSION
Use the explosion event be a discussion theme, construct a re-built system after catastrophe also insert solar energy concept to building facade, create a life style in disaster zone.
The thesis consists of three levels:
(1)Form urban viewpoint, reprogram a new reconstruct method, combined with education, tourism and sustainable environment.
(2)For energy system, aim to turn down original impression in Kaohsiung, use a green recycle solar energy between urban and building scale, provide each family one day electricity requirement.
(3)For the point of space, back and forth in light and heavy, bright and dark also it is an experience between despair and hope.
