在電腦圖學中,電腦動畫的製作往往是件複雜且需要耗費大量人力以及時間的工作。以往動畫的製作是先在網格上建立骨架,再去調整骨架,使得網格可以產生新的姿勢。
本篇論文的研究在於將現有來源網格的姿勢重複使用,把來源網格的變形矩陣傳遞到目標網格上面,用這種方式可以把來源網格的姿勢複製到目標網格上面,使得目標網格產生跟來源網格類似的姿勢。但直接把來源網格的變形矩陣傳遞套用在目標網格上面,往往網格的細節不是很理想,因此我們加入範例網格,從範例網格中取出資訊,利用這些資訊把變形後目標網格的細節調整成近似範例網格的細節,使得結果完美些,用此方式產生目標網格的姿勢將可省去大量的人工成本,也可以節省一些不必要花費的時間。
Making computer animation has always been a complicated and time consuming job. Animation is achieved by first constructing a skeleton on the given mesh, and then by adjusting the skeleton to generate new poses.
In this thesis, we study how to make source models’ poses be used repeatedly. By transferring source model’s deformation gradient to target model, this simple method can copy source model’s pose to target model. It makes target model’s pose like source model’s pose. However, directly transfer source model’s deformation gradient to target model, the target model’s local detail deformation is not often ideal. So the proposed algorithm considers additional example models and gets some meaningful information from example model. Using the information, the detail deformation of target model likes example model’s detail. It can make the results look more perfect. The method generates target model’s pose that will save a lot of human’s labor effort and time.
