在高溫高壓的水合熱裂條件下甲菲異構物已被證實可裂解生成菲,而部分異構物間也可以相互轉換,其中2-甲菲和9-甲菲間有相當高的互換比例。在先前假設的反應機制中,菲上的甲基是經由分子內的重排得到其他甲菲異構物,然而有文獻指出甲菲異構物在無水熱裂下可相互轉換,且推出可能的機制為分子間的轉換,因此在此一論文中我們比較9-甲菲在水合熱裂及無水熱裂反應,結果發現9-甲菲在無水熱裂條件中確實有顯著相互轉換的跡象,也用13C標定的9-甲菲來進行實驗,用此來證實是屬於分子內還是分子間的轉換,結果顯示出以分子間的轉換為主。
Hydrous pyrolysis of methylphenanthrenes under high temperature and high pressure condition has been proof to generate phenanthrene and 9-fluorenone. In our previous proposed mechanism, methyl group on phenanthrene might undergo intramolecular rearrangement to other methylphenanthrene isomers. According to the literature report, anhydrous pyrolysis of methylphenanthrenes transfer to each other, and the proposed mechanism was extramolecular rearrangement. Thus, in this study, hydrous and anhydrous pyrolysis of 9-methylphenanthrene were carried out. The results indicated that anhydrous pyrolysis has the high transformation. And we prove the rearranged mechanism by 13C assignment of 9-methylphenanthrene. The results indicated that it is extramolecular rearrangement.
