本研究的動機源於疫情政策下，城市公共空間的封閉促使我們重新審視公共空間的社會角色。從公共硬體設施的非排他性，提供給弱勢群體的生存系統，到社會生活所構建的社會網絡，皆呈現出城市韌性的面貌。
因此，本文旨在透過對社會基礎設施的空間結構進行研究，以了解實質結構與結構系統在城市中的運作模式。我們將深入瞭解人與人、人與體系、以及體系與體系之間如何透過城市的公共基礎設施維持社會網絡之連結。
本研究論文主要以空間結構和社會結構的研究方法為基礎，將社會基礎設施細分為實體結構和虛擬社會網絡兩個部分進行調查和分析。通過分階段的社會生活調查，我們將焦點放在研究範圍的特定位置。然而，在調查後發現，無法使用過去的分類方法對本研究範圍的社會基礎設施進行功能上的區分，因此，本文依據社會基礎設施的構成，將其分為歷史之地、開放之地、政策之地和租賃之地四個類別進行空間結構上的分析。
本文探討在空間作用下，社會基礎設施如何建構場域中的共有性，並透過共有性的擴張及滲透，強化場域和設施的連結。
經由本研究結果的歸納，有系統地組織、增加設施之間相互串聯及互補的機制，能更有效地擴展社會基礎設施的功能範圍。透過重新梳理不同系統下的社會基礎設施，進行設計的介入，形成動態的社會韌性基盤，建構更穩固的在地社會網絡。最後讓城市的公共空間不僅提供硬體設施，更重要的是在設施中產生社會的影響力與功能。

This design paper aims to conduct research on the spatial structure of social infrastructure to comprehend the operational modes of substantive structures and structural systems in the urban context. We delve into understanding how connections in social networks are maintained between individuals and systems through the public infrastructure of the city. The exploration focuses on how, under spatial influences, social infrastructure constructs commonality within a domain and, through the expansion and permeation of this commonality, strengthens the connections between the domain and facilities. The motivation of this research stems from the closure of urban public spaces under pandemic policies, prompting a reexamination of the social role of public spaces. From the non-exclusive nature of public hardware facilities, providing survival systems for vulnerable groups, to the social networks constructed by societal life, all reveal the resilience of the city.
