近年來,台灣的人口、工廠數量不斷增加,汽、機車數量也越來越多,產生的廢機油也隨之變多。隨著時代進步,環保意識逐漸提升,若能將廢機油添加於瀝青混凝土回收料,使其恢復性質,再拌入新鮮粒料、瀝青,成為再生瀝青混凝土,即可減少天然材料的使用和貫徹廢棄物再利用的理念,朝永續發展邁進。本研究以廢機油與不同比例的刨除料直接拌合後,製作成試體進行各項成效試驗並且分析評估應用的可行性
隨著RAP添加量的增加,其間接張力值、滯留強度IRS值、
回彈模數值會隨之下降,而添加廢機油會使其滯留強度IRS值、
回彈模數值上升,且有添加廢機油的組別於各工程表現皆符合規範。雖然於馬歇爾穩定值、馬歇爾流度值及車轍試驗的動穩定值略低於未添加機油的組別,但於密級配瀝青混凝土提供之強度及抗車轍能力,已足以適用於國內使用,建議能將廢機油取代部分新鮮瀝青,以減少環境破壞,以達廢棄物再利用的目的。
綜觀試驗結果,將廢機油添加於瀝青混凝土回收料,製作成再生瀝青混凝土時,能達國內大部分規範的標準,但其開裂性質、化學性質仍需進一步探討。
In recent years, Taiwan’s population and number of factories have continued to increase.As the number of cars and motorcycles rise, the amount of waste engine oil produced also increase. As time progresses, environmental awareness rises. If the waste engine oil can be added to the Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement(RAP) to restore its properties, then mix in fresh aggregates and asphalt to become recycled asphalt concrete. It can reduce the use of natural materials and re-use the waste, moving towards the goal of sustainable development. In this study, waste engine oil was directly mixed with different proportions of RAP, made into specimens for various effectiveness tests ,and then analysis its feasibility.
As the amount of RAP increases, its Indirect Tension value, Index Retained Strength (IRS value), and modulus of resilience will decrease accordingly. The addition of waste engine oil will increase its IRS value and modulus of resilience. And the groups with added waste engine oil all meet the regulations. Although the Marshall stability value, Marshall fluidity value and the dynamic stability value of the rutting test are slightly lower than the group without added waste engine oil. But its strength and anti-rutting ability are enough for domestic use. It is recommended to replace part of the fresh asphalt with waste engine oil to reduce environmental damage and achieve the purpose of waste recycling.
Based on the test results, when waste engine oil is added to RAP to make recycled asphalt concrete, it can meet most of the domestic specifications. But, its cracking properties and chemical properties still need to be further explored.
